Re: Some more questions
Hi, I have a question on sieges as well. In the DasTactic youtubes (5 & 6) he sieges the german cities to the south by gaining ownership of the surrounding hexes. There were three cities that were on the coast and one of them had a port / shipyard. He didn't have any ships covering those sea squ...

Re: Aggressors Dev Diary #9 - Infrastructure
Hi Pavel,
Yep, that middle screen is the one that DasTactic hasn't shown, or that I've seen. It does the job nicely.
You should give yourself a pat on the back for your tooltips. You and Mr. Ogre (?) have nailed it.

Re: Aggressors Dev Diary #9 - Infrastructure
Hi Pavel,
O.K, sounds good. You appear to have thought the design through very thoroughly.
Is there any information in-game that shows how much you are spending on maintenance and upkeep as I don't recall DasTactic mentioning this?

Re: Aggressors Dev Diary #9 - Infrastructure
Hi,
I've been watching DasTactics's youtubes, which are good. I've noticed him spamming out cities and units and his resources seem to be growing in line. There hasn't been any mention of maintenance.
Do cities or units require resources to maintain, once built?

Re: Aggressors Dev Diary #8 - Trade Routes
Hi Pavel, That's a well reasoned system with a clear explanation. Looking good. I noticed in the random world options you could tweak the global resource abundance as well as your own starting resources. Am I correct in thinking that I could set up a game where I was largely self sufficient or one w...

Re: Aggressors Dev Diary #6 - Combat (Part 2)
Hi,
Thanks for the update.
In the pic above of the battle result the unadjusted attack strength of the legion is 6 yet the adjusted value is 24.9.
How does that tie in with the bonuses displayed for the unit? Shouldn't it be around 12 ?

Re: Carthage AAR 278 BC to 77 BC
Hi,
Thanks for a well done AAR about an interesting looking game. Looking forward to the next one you do.
Is there any sense of internal politics in the game, eg. the Roman Senate, for example ?

Re: A suggestions thread
Hi, Like the game. Here's a thought bubble. Place a greater emphasis on Marshals Getting the AI to fire up to a higher level in the tactical battles wouldn't be easy given the diversity of unit types. To put the player on a more even footing (pretty easy to win the battles at present) a suggestion w...

Re: Announcement: Your chance to affect the future of Pandor
Hi,
You've mentioned that the developers are planning on releasing another patch (including improving spying which would be a plus).
Is any work that you do on the game going to be compatible with a future, official, patch?
Cheers,
Flash Jack

Re: My journey of improving the AI
Hi,
Full marks for having a go at this project.
I've enjoyed reading your update and if you feel like doing any more in a similar vein it'd be greatly appreciated.
Getting a 'behind the scenes' peek and an insight into how you're approaching the problems is very interesting.
Cheers,
Flash Jack

Re: Eclipse of Nashira = Terrible.
From my played / observed multiplayer matches so far I'm personally quite happy with the effectiveness of espionage and how it plays. However, we definitely have to improve the AI's infiltration skills, lower their infiltration frequency (though they do consider standings and scores for infiltratio...

Re: Eclipse of Nashira = Terrible.
This is a very interesting discussion and one that has me making my first post on this forum. I appreciate the comments from the developers indicating the thinking behind their design. Personally I think that it's a design that works great from a multiplayer perspective. Being able to sneak a guerri...
