One last ?, I notice that several starting locations have duplicate entries on the map: Ill just worry about the Romano one: Derventio There is a location of that name near Ratae Corieltauvorum, but there is also a Derventio up northeast of Eboracum! Which one is The Romano starting point? No probs...

I would like to clarify road movement. 1) I assume a non controlled structure "breaks" the chain for 1 mp road MP between two controlled structures. So as below, a faction controls A and C but not B with three road hexes in between structures, it would be 2 MP per road hex to get from A to B or 8 MP...

We've had similar discussions before, about whether to have truly random, or a Sid Meier / Civilization pseudo random, where every time a number is rolled, it reduces the chance of it being rolled again. Oakshott Type XIIA and XIIIA swords were often used 2 handed and originate 12th century.

As you can see, they are very effective versus Hill Giants!

The developers added infantry spears to the Russian cavalry instead of cavalry spears. Therefore, the Russian cavalry sometimes evades the battle. A swirling panzer fight near Kursk, with infantry platoons running from cover to cover to try and get flanks shots on the heavies without being pressed into the mud. Great game, somewhat surprised I won!
