Re: Moving through a ZOC
Spam armies need to be addressed anyway, though I think that problem is not as large as many think. In any case, this is a rare occurrence without too much effect on overall balance, it's just really annoying because it's so random and really doesn't make much sense. I think the two issues need to b...

Re: Moving through a ZOC
Uhh... this sort of thing did happen from day one, it's just always been rare. There hasn't been a rule change. I would think that just making sure that a unit can never simply ignore secondary ZoC would take care of this issue? At that point, the archers in the screenshot could either turn around t...

Re: Moving through a ZOC
Sure, but couldn't we try testing a change to the code so that you couldn't just waltz through two enemy units like that?

SnuggleBunnies (Tibetan) defeats KiwiWarlord (Ming) 50-25 Ferocious fighting in forests and scattered villages surrounded by rice paddies; terrible cavalry country, but the Tibetan's matchlockmen and slingers caused enough damage that the heavy cavalrymen could, struggling in the muck, slog their wa...

Re: ZOCs blocking break-offs.
While this is a subject worth exploring, might it not be best to see how the new increased bounciness of cavalry changes the meta first? But if we were to test one, I would say cavalry ignoring infantry but not cavalry ZoCs for breakoff purposes.

Re: Arrows vs Armour: Agincourt Myth Busting
And what's so fantastic here ? It's very clear that the a cumulationof factors win the battle for the english. It's very logic. Horses were mowed down by the arrows and the rear lines just stumble upon the front, having a big mass of bodies killed by own weight ! That's Agincourt for short ! Tight ...

SnuggleBunnies (German) defeats TheGrayMouser (Turkish) 64-46 The Turks goaded the German lancers into a premature charge by harassing them with arrows. This went badly for the Germans, who mostly were unable to catch the Turks, and then shot out of their saddles and attacked in the flank. Luckily, ...

Re: No ZOC
It's the weird ZoC stuff discussed in your previous thread. The primary ZoC of the Mediocre Legionaries behind them is prioritized over the Secondary ZoC to the front. Not a bug, working as intended as far as I know. ...not that I think that state of affairs is ideal. Hopefully the ZoC stuff will be...

Re: Best Way to use Warband?
My understanding is that currently, Close Order Warbands do not gain the +1 to cohesion in the Open for being Heavy, but also do not get the -1 malus for facing Heavy in the open. So Close Order Warbands are slightly less resilient in open terrain than other heavy foot.
