It's just a forum where you can talk about everything, not always in the way as someone else wishes.

Re: Japan Engineers

Surely, the point is that it would be easier without such restrictions.
How does it look? a list of imported units and you buy them?

I started the Japan Grand Campaign. Currently I am playing 3rd scn Shanghai and noticed there are not available Japanese Engineers unit.
Are these changes made by the developers? Why?

Maybe use this ski unit graphic as a switch between Gebirgsjäger summer/winter-outfit?
I think that with the development of the game the possibility to change/switch uniforms/camouflages becomes a necessity.

Wiking

It was written about this here but I want to return to this topic. SS-Div Wiking was motorised not mountain and there were any ski units. The Division Wiking 1941: SS-Regiment Germania (motorised inf) SS-Regiment Nordland (motorised inf) SS-Regiment Westland (motorised inf) 5. SS-Panzerjager Abteilu...

Re: Sneak Peak: Flying Boats

The second plane is most likely Dornier Do 18 (or Do 24, but this one had a rotating turret from the front). It was difficult.

The BV 138 and Do 18/24 also stationed on the Sicily, Sardinia and Crete, so perhaps the naval war in the Mediterranean Sea?

Blohm und Voss BV 138, "die fliegende Holzschuh" (flying sabot - wood shoe) :?: :)
They stationed mainly in Norway and took part in the fight against Allied convoys.

Re: Blitzkrieg artillery stats issue

According to wikipedia: 21cm Effective firing range = 14,500 m 17cm Maximum firing range = 29,600 m While "effective" and "maximum" are different things, this and the description below clearly suggest the 17cm has the highest range. The Kanone 18 quickly impressed German Artillery officers, firing ...

Re: Blitzkrieg artillery stats issue

game version: 2.9.6d / steam I believe that I have found three issues with German artillery in the newest expansion see picture below: First issue is that all artillery units are available from the first scenario. Second issue is that 17k18 has 8 range, I think it should be 5. Third issue is the co...

We generally don't mention "minor" fixes on these lists.
It is good to hear :D , I want to play all campaigns once again. I am curious about the new system of specialization.
Thanks a lot.

Did you fixed Commander Ward's bug in the new patch?

There is no information in the 2.9.6d Patch changelog.

I think you can connect the North and Centre but South should have a separate campaign.

Re: Order of Battle: Blitzkrieg - German units preview!

Panzer Corps is a great game but it is in 4-5th place on my private list of games from Slitherine. I've been seeing references to PC in these forums and will be checking that game out soon. I know it's different from OOB in being more tile-oriented*, but I figure that my game shelf can handl...

Re: Order of Battle: Blitzkrieg - German units preview!

Wow, you have some serious dedication to OOB (and a lot of time at your hands) to replay it that often. However, if you read my post closely, I dont care that much for minor details and historical inaccuracies. The gameplay mechanics are also decent (and pretty easy to grasp). Rather, I think that ...
