Battle of Jakobstadt 1704 scenario

Hi Guys, My new scenario, Jakobstadt 1704, is now available. Here are the design notes; I used the Great Northern War Compendium, Lars Hoglund's two volumes on the GNW and Tacitus.nu's website as the basis for this scenario. 1) The Smolensk Szclachta are a bit of a mystery, I have assumed that they ...

Re: Recommendations for campaigns 1650-1700?

Ideally, I'd be looking for a series of scenarios like the "Historical" campaigns included in the game. E.g. Italian Wars, Tercio to Salvo, English Civil War. I really enjoyed progressing through the period and reading up on the battles before and after I had a crack at them in the game. Thanks! Th...

Re: About Ashigaru

Try to make the enemy engage in a spot where you can shoot them from the flanks. That's where you should push your teppo. They are the perfect skirmishers and they are hard to catch. Teppo are warriors or medium foot. Not skirmishers. That's what makes them so hard to use. GShock has only been play...

Battle of Systerback 1703 scenario

My new scenario, Systerback 1703, is now available for download. There is only one version, Single Player Russian. This was one of the more obscure battles of the Great Northern War, but was one of the first Russian victories against the normally invincible Swedes. You start with only the Renne Drag...

Re: The Battle of Kliszow 1702 scenarios

I am doing a series of scenarios on the Great Northern War. I will be covering all the major battles and some of the smaller ones, such as the Battle of Systerback which has just been posted today.

Pike and Shot Terrain Set Download

Here is the first of my alternative terrain styles for Sengoku Jidai. This is just the standard Pike and Shot Summer Terrain adapted to work in Sengoku Jidai. This will only work if you have updated your version of Sengoku Jidai to the latest patch (1.28) that added the capability to have extra terr...

The Battle of the Crossing of the Duna 1701 scenario

My latest scenario; The Battle of the Crossing of the Duna 1701 is now available for download. It is available as Single Player (Swedish only) and Multi player. No Single Player Saxon version available I am afraid, it just would not work as a challenging scenario. Here are the design notes; 1) If ha...

Re: A Sengoku Jidai: Gempei Kassen AAR (by Jayson NG)

Provinces have a predominant terrain type; Mountains, Hilly, Agricultural, Wooded etc. When a battle occurs in a province the terrain is randomly generated, but modified by the province terrain type, for instance in an Agricultural province you will get more fields and less hills and woods, in a Woo...

Re: A Sengoku Jidai: Gempei Kassen AAR (by Jayson NG)

Is the name generator also working in the campaign? Is this why I can never find Nobunaga? Ahm... supposing that the number of maps is finite (meaning, they are not randomly generated), have you guys thought about building a "rotator" for the maps? That way we can have each map become 4 maps...

Re: New Battles for Pike & Shot

I have just returned from two weeks holiday, and my two mobile devices are unable to login to this forum, hence no posts from me for the last two weeks. My current personal project is to do as many Great Northern War battles as possible. The Crossing of the River Duna 1701 is complete, and I will se...

I think you are referring to Odenathus' Flodden scenario. In my version, that this thread refers to, you play as the Scots.

I played Odenathus' Flodden once, and got hammered by the Scots as well!

Battle of Knockdoe 1504 scenario

My Battle of Knockdoe scenario is now available for download. This is a small battle from Irish history, well, a big battle by Irish standards! I originally designed this scenario about a year ago, but never released it. I have recently upgraded it, adding the Irish unit graphics from the Extra Nati...

Re: Battle of Narva 1700 scenario

From now on I will try to offer Single Player scenarios (for both sides) and Multi player scenarios for all my battles. However for the Great Northern War battles that may not always be possible. These battles are unusual as the Swedes were usually at a huge numerical disadvantage, and also the AI d...
