Re: Considerations on the Tenka Fubu Campaign

I haven't spawned my new army yet but you can see the situation: 1883 vs 1464 in favor of the enemy. If you have not raised your new armies yet then this is not a true reflection of the strategic position, the situation should swing back in your favour when you spend your revenue on raising new arm...

Re: The AI seems to have a habit of dripping in troops piece

The game is brand new... lots of improvements can still be made but considering how complex it is, the behavior of the AI is a very nice surprise so far. Well, it's not completely brand new, as it is heavily based on the Pike and Shot Campaigns system. The AI is pretty decent in P&S Campaigns, and ...

Re: Post here links to the MP scenarios you have created

I have been trying out Poltava, and am very impressed. I would love to see more Great Northern War scenarios, and if possible ones from The War of the Spanish Succession. Marlborough's campaigns and the first Peninsula War could provide rich pickings. I wish that I was skilled enough to have a go m...

Re: Multi Player Scenarios

Thanks Richard,

That is simpler than I thought! I will provide MP versions starting with my next two scenarios, which will be complete my battles for the Nine Years War, Staffarda and Marsaglia.

Multi Player Scenarios

Hi Richard, On occasion, I would like to offer Multiplayer versions of my scenarios. Unfortunately I have not been able to find anywhere that explains how to make a Multiplayer scenario. I guess it must be a pretty straightforward process and obviously the scenario should be balanced to give both si...

64 unit limit

Hi Richard, I just wanted to ask a few questions about the 64 unit per side limit. a) Is it hard coded or can it be removed by modding? b) Any chance this limit will be increased in future patches? I guess the limit is there to help older PCs run the game, but I have designed some huge scenarios and...

Re: More Seasons - Experimental

Tested Hultog Italic in the game - unfortunately it has no German umlaute and "ß" ... :( That's a shame. It should still be good for English language users though. Yes, I have a new scenario; Combat at Leuze 1691. It will be ready for download in a day or two. It was a cavalry battle at the end of ...

Re: UI feedback

Never mentioned this before, but it's been going on since Pike & Shot. Sometimes [always at the worst time!], when I select a unit, hover over an enemy, see ONLY the melee symbol and try to check to see if it would be favorable, my unit charges without me having ordered it to, just as a result of t...

Re: More Seasons - Experimental

Thanks for that Adebar, I like the Klaber Fraktur font, but you are right, it is a bit difficult to read. However, this did inspire me to look on the web for fonts suitable for the 16th/17th century. I found these; http://www.1001fonts.com/renaissance-fonts.html I particularly like Hultog. Included ...

Re: More Seasons - Experimental

Hi Adebar, I'm really looking forward to this mod, it looks great. One small comment I would like to make though; I'm not sure if these new sparse trees are suitable for summer. Trees are normally very thick with vegetation in Summer, it is in Spring, Winter and perhaps Autumn (Fall) when they shoul...

Re: advices for a korean/chinese beginner

And about infantry unable to charge cavalry, there's a second consequence which comes to my mind right now: if, say, i face a line of infantry (not-able-to-attack-cavalry infantry, I don't speak about warriors of course), I can stop it with a line of cavalry. I can prevent them to move by being in ...

Re: Difficulty

Just curious - why would you have battles in the game that are very one-sided at the standard difficulty level? Where is the fun in that? Sure, the missions may be historically accurate, but we're playing a game here. I play games for enjoyment and challenge, and hope the developers create battles ...

Re: Terrain Colors - All or Just for Snow?

A good reason why this kind of discussion could have taken place on the main Pike and Shot forum rather than just in design circles/beta forum. Right now looking at this forum message window (its very white) is blurring my vision. LOL Aint age wonderful? By the time I get anywhere near exhausting t...

Re: New Sengoku Jidai screenshots!

I notice that in these screenshots the units have a graphical symbol next to the flag; a handgun, spear, bow etc. I have not seen these in previous screenshots. Is this a graphical feature that can be turned on or off to help identify what type of units they have?

Re: A Collector’s Edition and a new video for Sengoku Jidai!

This Collectors Edition looks to be a great addition to the basic game. I will definitely be purchasing this, although I will be waiting until June, when hopefully I will receive my Anniversary Coupon!
