There is no real cloaking, just some (inconsistent) glitches.

If you can't outrange them, use (a lot of) small ships (with torpedoes). Don't unload them at the beginning, wait till you get close.

If you play in Russian a lot of your staff will be in Russian even if you change the interface language, which Vladimir has done (I think).

I would be very careful with manual deletion of files, specially the saves. Deleting one file might make a lot of them inaccessible in the game. After all, there are only three quick saves (they are cycling).

I've heard about the Star Wars mod not being very stable with the latest PS update.
Doing a mod is a lot of work. The lack of documentation doesn't make it easier.
And I personally haven't even played all in-game races yet (here goes a necessity of a new DLC race too).

I'd rather have it (easily) modable.

They get "combat" stars (armor, fire range, fire damage). ;)

Unfortunately it doesn't work as a solution. The game still overrides those two lines with "AutoRevealEnemyShips false" on exit. Helps if you change the config before (of after) each game though. ;) Well, there is a way to overcome this. Just exit the game by Alt+F4 after quicksaving instead of nor...
