Re: Ptolemies never accept Athenian treaties

Yes but that is just partially true. To establish trade route, you need to see just one of the partner's cities and similarly the partner one of yours. Refusing to make cities visible has its reason - you don't trust the opponent enough to show how many cities you have, how big they are and where th...

Re: AI advantage from noob to legendary?

AI difficulty and game difficulty are two different things. Only game difficulty changes the production and it changes your production only (aka AI produces the same amount of resources whatever difficulty is set - this production is equal to "medium" difficulty level for human player). On the other...

Re: AI advantage from noob to legendary?

Hello dejvid2,
This might be the answer you are looking for. Production of resources is equal on medium level.

Re: Can´t start game

With hindsight, it ought to have been a clue that for Aggresors to crash before it had really started and before it was able to issue any error messages that the problem was my system not the game itself. Thanks to Pavelk for all the help. Great to hear that the update fixed the issue. I am really ...

Re: Aggressors - v1.0.7. "Strategic command" available!

I think I understand now. It is a bit inconsistent but it proved to be the lesser evil - when you click on the banner once and there is no unit behind the banner, it brings up the Unit selector window. If there is a unit behind the banner, it selects that unit (because otherwise it would be almost i...

Re: Noob Setting Comments

Hi lordhoff, you are absolutely right. As per manual , game difficulty changes: How aggressive AI players are in general How often random and semirandom events occur (the lower the difficulty the more often the good events and less often the bad events occur) Production of all the resources (for hum...

Re: Aggressors - v1.0.7. "Strategic command" available!

Hello lordhoff, as far as I understand, you experience some problems when selecting units out of the stack, correct? Did you read this post and my answer below? You can also switch to Alternative mouse control which will make the selection similar to other strategy games. Let me know if you already ...

Re: No more patches?

Hello again,
sorry for misunderstanding:)

v1.0.7 proved to be very stable so no patch v1.0.8 is planned in upcoming weeks. On the other hand there might be something with a bit different version number;)

Hello PHENICUS,
once you enter editor mode and go to Game Settings -> Keyboard, it will list all the keyboard shortcuts (including the "hidden" ones).

Re: How Are Empires With Large Off-Board Holdings Handled?

Well, that is partially true, but in our case I think making this for Seleucid empire and maybe for Celtic tribes would make it work. Of cource the game would still miss invasions and migrations of other nations but that's a tradeoff coming with every map covering just part of Earth.

Re: How Are Empires With Large Off-Board Holdings Handled?

Hello lordhoff,
unfortunately in the official scenario there is no off-map income or any other "replacement" for cut parts of a land. It is definitely something we will keep this in mind next time;)

Re: Strategies for playing Athens?

Hello, I can only agree with Morbio regarding the city size. The nation probably reached its limits and the war of attrition was lost. Regarding AI strategies for building cities, this might be the answer you are looking for. In short, there is no "best" distance, it must be reconsidered for differe...

The game went from just trying to survive to being dominant in a very short time and it has taken the fun out of it a bit.
Don't worry, Aggressors gives and takes away as well. Rome might be friendly now because they are occupied elsewhere but that can change;)
