HUGE LOL @ "style handbook" for wargamers. What's next? Tournament points for army composition and quality of painting? Pretty soon we'll be playing Warhammer (both kinds) which is where scrubs go when they are tired of playing to win and just want to "have fun" (i.e. lose). And banning players for ...

Dear Madaxeman, If it's in the rulebook, it's allowed. Stop being such a scrub(1) and play the bloody game as written please. First it was attacking another player because he took more care than you when manoeuvring his units(2), now it's apparently bad being clever about placing terrain. What's nex...

I didn't sell all my knights, still have some left in fact. You can check all the lots I'm selling here:

Note: there are 2 pages of stuff.

At the moment the only trade I'm looking for is £/€/$ as times are hard!

I'd be doing even better if my Superior Legion led by the IC was capable of surviving 2 rounds of shooting without going fragged. Or if troops fleeing off table counted as full losses. :-( And I'm sure your opponents had no complaints about bad dice or rules they dislike? Sunday you will be holding...

Couldn't help but notice that the Roman BG in the middle consists of 4 stands. Does this means the Dominate swarm has made it into the game too?

Shooting question

This might sound dumb but I've seen other people play it both ways and by other people I mean tourney-goers so I'm probably not the only one confused about this. Are 2nd rank dice calculated per target or per base? In other words, assuming they are all shooting at the same target, do 4*6 bow MF (in ...

This is another suggestion for kind of de-edgyfying the table. How about you just let units voluntarilly leave the side of the table (i.e. move off the table, rather than evade off it) without penalty? and let them re-enter from that same spot on any subsequent movement phase? That's terrible as pl...

I have a Nubian army built from various manufacturers and I couldn't find a completely nude figure for them. Historical depictions always have them wearing a kilt/loincloth at least sometimes w/ feathers and some sort of headwear. Even the most naked of them all, the Libyans, wore a sleeve over thei...

I remember that the current consensus on elephant-mounted bolt shooters was that the animals were used just to carry the weapons, not to actually shoot them while being carried. If so, Elephants will just be elephants. I really can't imagine them moving and shooting in actual practice.

Been asked before, answer is it will be in Lost Scrolls although as a fellow Timurid player I can't imagine what you expect to find in the Later Mongols that the Timurids don't already have.
