This is mostly experimental due to lots of changes are needed with this new mechanic. So, for now please just use it for testing and send feedback how to balance units with this new update. We can make Armageddon more tactical game together.

How do you think unit replacement should change? If enemy have no AA units, they can't do anything to flyers. As i remember, most campaign scenarios have no or little AA units. This is reasonable. But I cannot imagine a Hydra being useless against groud targets. WW2 has teached us more than enough about AA cannons and their (ab)use. I have added new addition to latest optional update. It's in the community update topic.
Now AA weapons only attacks flyers, not ground units. And ground based weapons such as tank's cannons, bolters, artillery etc. can't attack flyers. Thus, you can make more different tactics now.

There aren't nice models which blend in with the Armageddon as with this mod but there is no other option if I want to do it. Possibly there will be only 2 facing directions with every model. I will continue to update this mod with new units. Next update possibly will be Adeptus Custodes units. But I want to develop new mod for this game. BattleTech: A Crossover mod. If you don't know what is BattleTech, I can say it's a science fiction universe which contains lots of mech/vehicle units....
