Rob, does that mean you can't play between 11am-4pm? Also, what time zone are you in, hombre?

Re: Order of Battle - Inaugural MP Tournament Chat Thread

folders.jpg Hi Robert, Your folders and files should look like this. My guess is that you've got one folder too many between Scenarios and R2_BattleNewBritain? Ta Did you get it set up? I've got to crawl out from under some stuff due to bidness travel today but can play tomorrow as we discussed. Le...

Re: Arracourt is released.

That is a great graphic! Yes, the CCA organization table which I quoted; I'm not sure what it actually is saying because it does look like it's woefully understating the number of units in a battalion. I used it to indicate what units were in the battle for the U.S. and in what proportions. Instead...

Re: Anybody ever won Burma> Sittang Bridge?

..But maybe, Mr. Spike, if you'd play the scenarios inside a campaign, your units would've been more experienced and could clear out the Japs easier. I'm not a campaign man mate, not in OOB or Pz Corps or any other game for the simple reason I don't like to have battles dumped in my lap by t...

Re: Arracourt is released.

Gabe, the 1.1 version got to be too hard because I ratcheted up the German artillery and tank destroyers but I am trying not to use resource points in this one. So, in 1.2, I compensated by dialing back the German unit experience from 5 to 4. I also introduced a commander, more to make use of the j...

Re: Order of Battle - Inaugural MP Tournament Chat Thread

I have saved the screenshot successfully but when I try to attach to my post I get a '413 Request Entity Too Large' error - suggesting the image file is too large. It's only 21MB but I compressed it anyway into a zip file but still get same error. Victory for tapir man is one of our games - the oth...

Victory for tapir man is one of our games - the other continues ! I tried to take a screenshot but it didn't succeed. Not sure where I went wrong recommend you use the print screen function and paste it into a printable document -- then click it and save as a .jpg. The screen capture in OoB is not ...

Two Bridges Red Victory _conboy v jlkuro99_.zip Here are the results of the tough match between me (conboy) and jlkuro99. We each won the red side, but somehow I managed to score 42 points in my loss - jlkuro managed 33 points in his loss. I believe that awards me the victory according to the rules...

I'm wondering if it might be worth organising an informal "losers bracket" for those who get knocked out in round 1 to try out the other scenarios in the tournament?

Re: Something to lift the mood

I would also like to add that if you attack the town to the east you will capture a Japanese light AT gun. Sounds good, right? It's actually terrible because at this point you will not have enough supplies and this will put your whole army to under-supplied state which makes the scenario impossible...

Re: Road to Moscow

I just played Erik2 on the Road to Moscow 2.0 -- a fine scenario if you like smashing invading armies. It gave me great satisfaction to spank the German army as invented by their commander. I'll take him on again in 3.1 with a more balanced view and see how I do. Here are some comments (edited for p...

@kondi754 How about playing terminator's " Battle of Kursk (Soviet Corps) 1.04 / Zombie Army" challenge at level 5?
