Thx, good catch. This seems to be a translation mishap. It looks fine in english and few other languages, but indeed the problem is in german and spanish versions. Should be easy to fix.

Sounds like a good description of the situation in summer 1941 from the Red Army POV... ;)

As for tanks, KV2 are absolute beasts indeed, but if you want to use lots of those repair costs can ruin you. Though T34s plus one or two heavies are certainly ok to do the job, even in the harsher scns.

I agree it *could* work outside WW2, but there is nothing specifically agreed, planned, worked on etc. at this point, so *if* that ever happens it will not be soon.

For some reason, the game doesn't seem to recognize that the entirety of Rostov is in Soviet hands and there isn't a German unit in sight, so it's basically stalled out my campaign by declaring that I've lost. This is a hotfix for the Rostov scenario of Red Star, PC/Windows. It deals with the "unexpected defeat" problem. Hi, you should not get a defeat when all objectives are achieved.

Did you lose a primary hex during play and took it back? This actually *should* deal you an immediate defeat, but in this case the objective display would be wrong.

Can you confirm that all objectives are checked green? Would you be able to attach a savegame?

Or was there ever a point where you lost one of your most northern gold hexes? This would get you a defeat since it is one of the primary objectives to never lose any of those two.

I don't know if there's a tech solution to this, since - as you posted - hangars need to be created when planes are landing, and I guess every unit needs to be in *some class after all (so changing them to another class - even if possible - would just move the prob). Thx for reporting, this is basically the ground attack switch of the anti air unit GAZ AAA/Maxim (right next to it) so does have the same name. Gets changed of course.

I guess they are not intended to be used for coast lines. IIRC they were added for Africa, to have them on desert terrain.
