you can make some easy changes yourself! just open the general.txt file and go down to research and set the max labs and cost increase to whatever you want, and this will reduce research by either making it more expensive, or have less labs available, or both. actual # labs available is modified as ...

Research
Does anyone else think that research can be done far too narrowly? At the maximum of 13 labs, the axis can purchase 7 armor labs, which means incredibly advanced tanks by the time of barbarossa. I would like to see a limit of say 3 labs per area, with the old 12 lab limit reinstated - this would go ...

I would be very interested in an expanded version with two theatres - Europe and Far East - connected in a world war. You could then switch between maps, and units could go from one to the other using the loops. If each Map were the same size as what we have now, we could also slightly scale the W-E...

Its hard to detail at length - I usually do fairly broad tech research and max labs out - a few early ones, then max out by barbarossa. I usually do: 2-3 in Infantry, aty focus 3 in armor - usually balanced, then switch to armor focus 3 in air, dogfight focus 2 in navy - sub focus 2 in general, indu...
