Sarmatian. Lots of noble lancers of high quality.

I did get some light javelin cavalry, and tried to focus on one of his units, but the map was set at Very Small, so there wasn't much room to move and they were gradually caught or driven off.

As the author of an alternate history novel dealing with a zombie Battle of Marathon, I would love to see a mod covering that version of the battle. If only my modding skills...existed. Zombies could have a similar unsettling impact on all combatants as camels on horses. They would have to have rout...

Man, this game has such a "just one more go" urge... How I hate the Romans - how do they rebuild their forces like that? They breed like rabbits. I tell you, if someone doesn't knock them down a peg or two now, the whole Med is going to hear from these guys... Congrats on a game with a different fee...
