Generalfeldmarschall Acererak came out from the Allied General tent with a half smile on his face. He knew well his fellow Wermacht Commander, and was sure all the details passed to the enemy in that brown envelope should be enough to turn the tide in favor of the allies in the bloody fight for that...

I was wondering why you placed the mortar team in the open right next to that cozy building....(one of the features in the game I think should be addressed as placing mortars and arty inside buildings feels a bit weird). As soon as I found them, I went for them like a hungry wolf. They can be nasty ...

Enjoyed this one against Acererak- tense to the bitter end; it was only on the Axis last turn he got 3 flags of his 6 flags! Cracking placement of at least one of his AT guns - it may have been 2 I never got close enough to find out :( - accounted for all but 1 of my Bren carriers. It hit every sho...

This round is going quite smooth. At least seems we balanced the Desert Campaign of the tournament with some Axis favored scenario. Slitherine can take some ideas about rebalancing scenarios checking our results here , I think we are providing them with very nice and detailed feedback I will be out ...

Seems the Axis is not giving up North Africa that easily after all...just finished our battle in Round 2 with following results : Acererak Axis victory : 30 points Axis flags : 6 (60 points) Axis losses : 15 (-45 points) Wonder why Axis has no AA capability in this one...oh well Axis kills : 20 (40 ...

Personally I don't see any reason to be too rigid with the time frame. I can usually get a few turns in each day but I'm on GMT +10h and that can slow things down. It doesn't bother me in the slightest if my opponent disappears for a few days because real life intervenes. I would support the idea o...

After last patch release, ALL multiplayer scenarios have a timer and flag objectives, which means playing on the defensive is no longer a viable tactic in most of them. At least, first you need to consolidate your minimum requested objectives to win the scenario and then defend them...if you managed...

Welcome to the BA community Slazz! The scenarios you are asking for are Buying Time and A Christmas Surprise. Both have randomly generated units for the Axis every turn, although taken from a fixed pool for balance reasons. In the first one, there are actually three possible entry points for the new...

Crestone, I agree with most of your statement, although I definitely consider this game to be a casual MP game (specially compared to what you can see out there). I also expect from people who join a tournament to have a bit more commitment to the game since that choice is a voluntary one, and every...

I guess we are almost done then. Next step will be Sailinguy posting the First Round results and pairings for SECOND round, which will be fought in the Desert as well (Desert Encounter scenario). Kind of looking for the Normandy fields myself...Seems the Axis got pretty badly beaten so far in the No...

I get on MP quite often, and usually see one or two open challenges availbale every time. I also usually issue open challenges quite often. Maybe could be a time frame area stuff? For the record, I am in Europe. As a side note, i just accepted a challenge the other day (cant remember opponent name) ...

Well, it´s good to see i am not alone...but still, I made quite a few bad moves and my opponent played much better than me. In any case, the great thing about this tournament is that when we find a case like this (too bad we got another biased scenario in the list...) it wont affect that much the re...

Will be interesting to see how they manage to balance scenarios in this expansion. Since French equipment (AT guns and Armor mainly) was far superior than germans, the assortment of units should probably be quite unbalanced favoring the axis in most of them (my guess). The simulation of the units st...

My hints : - As pointed out by Amaris, you need to plan your advance very carefully. Better chose just one avenue of advance, and better if you go for flank (I believe left since starting position is there) than right up front (sure death) - Use some squads first to shoot at defensive positions affe...
