Re: All my neighbors declare war to me ...

I had one ask for peace, but it was after stomping them for many years. We went back and forth, but I kept destroying large armies they built.

Re: Is there any way to give or return territory to allies?

I'd also like options after beating an opponent's army in a region they own - At least 1 that says "Loot the region but don't take ownership". I don't want your regions!

Re: 'Easy' Level - REALLY?!?

Reason to suggest Macedonia is you are the biggest Greek based power. With a decent starting army. You should be able to dominate Greece and Epirus so that is 3 rich provinces just by taking out the minors. War with Lysimakos should be a draw, maybe an easy win if they start to age (the Diadochi ru...

Re: 'Easy' Level - REALLY?!?

It depends a lot of the nation you play. And then there is some luck or lack of it. Dacia should be a safe start. Macedonia is strong and rarely bothered by neighbors. Rome can be a trap... Potentially strong, but the start can be rough. Then if you evolve to fast, usurpers appear. Maurya is easy, ...

Re: Anyone else find it annoying that Youtubers .....

Yeah. The FoG2 thing really got me where I wanted both, but after watching some videos and also playing, I'm kind of digging the battles that are resolved in the Empires battles viewer.

Re: Issue with Rebellions

A revolt costs you the region, even if you win. So in a key region, you simply can't risk a revolt, hence the advice to slow down with Rome in early game. A rampage generates too many slaves to cope with Hack yah! I saw a slave army with 200+ power on the British isle. If I hadn't beaten it, the sl...

Wouldn't it be awesome to tie it in to Rise of Prussia. I'd love that.

More robust campaign system

Honestly, the campign system for all of these games seems lacking to me. The games are fun. I have Pike and Shot Campaigns and Sengoku (Just bought and played several battles and one campaign). I played the campaign set during the time of Oda Nobunaga and he was fighting against Takeda, I believe. W...

Re: WW2 Submarine games.

I think an MMO based on WW2 submarine warfare would be pretty awesome. You'd need AI for a lot of the ships and even submarines, but you would be allowed to command a sub or a destroyer type ship for antisub warfare. It would have to be very realistic for me to like it, though. I have plenty of othe...

Re: Any teens here?

Not a teen, but I became interested in war games as a teenager. I read Toland's The Rising Sun and had seen Midway and Tora! Tora! Tora! and became fascinated with the U.S. Navy. I bought Flattop. I had no one to play it with, so played it solo, as much as possible. I also read the Herman Wouk ficti...
