Indeed, one of our goals is to make the campaign varied, and while it is a very broad topic, I can say that we SHALL have some defensive scenarios with objectives like you've described (hold X for BV, hold Y for V etc.) That’s good to hear, what would be enjoyable would be to add the varied campaig...

I think that would work only if the secondary attackers only get a minor attack bonus. Otherwise it would be exploited no matter what unit was in battle.

Well, if we are going PG style, then it causes some problems, since in actuality you are not hitting with flanking units at the SAME TIME, instead one unit moves... attacks, then another unit moves, and then attacks. So for this, I guess the old method of reducing initiative per battle is fine. Now...

Unit types / Unit classes

It was stated there are "400 unit types, divided into 19 unit classes "

Can you elaborate and possibly give an example.

Are unit CLASSES Infantry, Armor, AA, Fighter, Level Bomber, Tactical Bomber, Anti-tank, and ?

If we knew about the classes, we could discuss uses/ideas for each class.

I would not mind seeing HQ units, perhaps this could be integrated to prevent people from complaining about the un-realism of wondering units behind lines at no penalty. I think plausibiity isnt the issue but flexibility for the player, why allow one ahistorical core force but allow another (i mean what percent of German forces were motorized let alone mechanised, 10-15%?)! That is true, very little of the German Army was mechanized in such a manner, but even lower...

Not as severely as all paratroopers. At least there is some variety. That setup is a lot more plausible on any front as opposed to all paratroopers.
