I'm wondering how siege battles will be depicted. Will they be graphically depicted similar to the field battles ? It'd be cool to have an optional RPG mode where as well as managing the empire you could assume the role of a single general. The battles of that specific general and only that general, could then be played in full in FOG2 whilst your other armies battle's wouldn't have that option. This would add a...

bit misleading to be honest. You only get multi-turn battles with relatively large armies in restricted terrain where its hard to do much damage. Most often its resolved in one turn. If you lose, and are outnumbered in terms of cavalry, you get a slaughter as you retreat/rout. If you have plenty of...

Watching the twitch video w Ian on Pocus I was left with a concern about battles. The issue I see is that they seem to resolve after just a round or 2 of combat and low % losses on both sides ( in the order of 20%). In Empires one turn every 4 is a 'harsh season', and you get a one turn warning about that so you plan accordingly, as it impacts movement and fighting. So I guess we can send the information to FOG2 also. Harsh season in empires is an abstraction, as it means you might get a blizzard in Germania w...

I too am a big fan of the TT mod for FOG2. I hope it can not only be used in battles but the banner reskin can be applied to the grand campaign units too.

I like the idea of 4 turns per year so that different seasons can be represented on the campaign and battle maps but accept 1 TPY may be more practical as mentioned above. Would it be possible for that 1 year to be assigned to a random season and this be represented on campaign and battle maps ?? Th...

After installing as above you need to "select the module". By this I mean click on the small icon of 3 superimposed folders just to Right of the selection ...
