Maybe the Turks could be allowed artillery capability but with the restriction that they can only build one such unit during the course of the war. Or something like that, anyway. Even without a restrictive rule the Turks would rarely have enough PP's to be able to buy ammunition on the scale the B...

It works. Don't remember for sure, but I think I've gone as late as 1921 :) Of course realism suffers because the techs run out, which they never would do in real life. OTOH it's not realistic, either, for the high command to know that the war will end on 31 December 1918 regardless of what happens....

Egypt and Iraq aren't at war yet. They will enter shortly after Italy.

A while ago I asked if there was a check for this like there is in CEAW. One of the mods said no, not yet, but they're planning to put one into the first patch. IIRC :)

Brussels morale penalty & Vichy

Does the morale penalty for Allied units in France after the fall of Brussels apply to units that are in what will become Vichy territory? From one game I'm playing I suspect it doesn't - which would surely be a glitch. At the very least a cheesy way to keep the air force in good shape :)

I just got a rude surprise playing the 1915 scenario in single-player mode. Turkey declared war on Persia to pick up some free PP's - only to discover the Persians have units after all. Eventually conquered them, but that made it impossible to put pressure on the Russians, and eventually lost me the...

I use bombers mainly for attacking units and zeppelins (if I have any) for strategic bombing. What does a zeppelin cost? are they more/less effective at knocking down PP's? (I've never seen them reliably take out one per turn, it's more like one every three turns.)

I believe the Revolution has to be triggered by NM. If I were programming it it would like something like this: NM hits 60 -> 'February' (Kerensky) revolution and NM immediately drops to 40 NM his 30 -> 'October' (Bolshevik) revolution and NM immediately drops to 10 The way it is actually programmed...

I'm stuck in another game & the devs haven't posted an individual reply. As I understand it they're checking them out, working on fixes and will include them in the patch that's coming out in December.

Don't know about Russia but in the case of France it's for technical reasons - to prevent the French from reinforcing Belgium on the first turn of the war, wrecking the whole Schlieffen thing before it even gets started. The first rail step is cheap and they can buy it right away if they like.

If your alliance got the last move, then your opponent gets a chance to open it up and see the end game message (I've had that happen to me) and the game shows up on the server with a black and white checker flag.

Go to advanced search
