I am confused about wether to have the 'Is the trigger active from the start' checked or not for 'Capture VP event' triggers. If it is checked for a defensive objective, it seems to produce an automatic victory for the defender since the objective is owned by the defender at start. It does not seem ...

I removed a certain 'trigger active at start' checkmark from the objective triggers and it seems this fixed the auto-victory. At least I could move through the first 4 turns without the scenario abruptly ending. I'll post new versions of my scenarios with the version number in the file-name to hopef...

I already changed the scenario names, but that is probably not enough.
Problem with changing file/folder name is that for every new version the game creates a new scenario folder.

But the bombers would only get one attack and would then have to head back to their own carrier.
I think it would also force players to put a fighter unit on CAP.
But this must of course be tested in actual play.

I'll try exchanging 'tow' with 'foot'. It should be safe assuming I follow Luka's mod instructions.
And yes, at the moment I need a Japanese mountain art for a custom scenario.

Mountain artillery?

Any hope of getting a couple of 75mm mountain versions of US/Japanese artillery?
The current 75mm art cannot enter mountain hexes.
These would come in handy in scenarios. I would not mind reusing the same sprites as a stop-gap measure.

Yes, resources and command points are very effective tools to limit repair (resources) and purchasing new units (Resources + land/air/naval command points). You have to download cumstom scenarios, links in the proper folder in the scenario/mods section.
Then select join to accept a challenge (you can still cancel), you should see something like this.
Or you can host a challenge, select the scenario from the list and then switch the tab to map preview.

In general it is difficult to tune land/air/naval movement correctly to various map sizes. Time/space quicly enters Einsteinian territory :D I think the infantry movements in general are a bit too generous. I hope we will be able to mod unit stats pr scenario so that they will be more consistent wit...

The land recon could function with ie a helmet symbol similar to the air/naval symbols we already have for non-indentified units.

If you bought it on Slitherine (and got the free Steam key), you can always install that version.

I recently updated my scenarios adding the version number. I notice there are a few old challenges on the board. I reccomend players remove them, downloaded the latest scenario version and put up new challenges. That way both players can ensure they're playing the same Version. I think the system on...

I think if a air unit stayed a whole turn in one spot, it should have a good chance of spotting a land unit in the same location.
Select a friendly unit and put the mouse cursor over an enemy unit. You should see the enemy range.

Yes, but the other functionality adds a MG nest and lets you keep your origiganl un it (at reduced strength)
