Re: Coral Sea - Japanese TF never moves or fights

Checked the scenario in the editor. These ships are initially not assigned to an AI-team. They may be assigned and AI-team in a later turn by trigger/event, Lukas surely have the answer to that one. I noticed the same thing in the boot-camp Fleet Command scenario where several ships are idle the fir...

Re: Why Not Fire & Move?

After an attack the unit is engaged, located next to the enemy (except ranged units of course). Any movement after attacking should in any case come with a penalty while the unit is disengaging.
Towed artillery should never be given this option, Self-propelled artillery maybe (shoot & scoot).

Re: "UNDO" button, too softcore ?

There was a bit of discussion about undo very early in the beta testing. But we quickly learned to play without and the issue was never raised again. As others have mentioned, the auto-save always allows you to replay the turn and if you want you can save during a turn. But when the iPad version is ...

And they would not have spare parts etc.
When the unit has a very low strength you can upgrade it to a Japanese unit of same type, ie tank.

Re: Why Not Fire & Move?

Earlier ships that were attacked would fire in defense. Not any longer.
If ships could fire and move a ehip could fire and then move out of range.
I have played many naval battles and they work pretty well now in my opinion.

Re: Command points and army core display

3) While beta-testing I asked for the force list to be sorted by Nationality -> Class ->Unit type -> Unit name
It would be really helpful in the game and even more so in the editor.

Re: How campain work?

Every objective that has a bonus (not all do) includes some txt explaining the bonus. You only need to meet the one specific objective with a bonus to get that specific bonus.

Re: How campain work?

Core units and resources transfer to the next scenario. Many scenarios are designed so that it is very, very difficult to attain all secondary objectives. Even on easiest level. But this means the campaigns have a certain replay value as you can concentrate on different secondary objectives the next...

Re: Place names on maps?

Most location objectives have a blue question mark that will take you to the location on the map.
I lobbied for place names during beta (several times :D ) as I knew other players would ask for it.
It is standard for most war games. I assume we will get it eventually.
Keep the pressure up

Lukas: If you're changing a stock scenario like Java to 2vAI, do you have to copy the briefing/objective info to the new human player or will both players on a team see the original info?
