The fighting around Narvik is probably the most interesting as the Allies actually beat Dietl's Gebirgsjäger troops, until some incident in France and the Low Countries caused the Allies to shift focus and left the Norwegian to themselves.

I would add the ill-fated Norwegian campaign to the Darkest Hour. This could be a nice combination of air-land-naval battles involving British, Norwegian, French Polish and German forces.

Halftrack vs truck

I may have asked about this earlier.
Anyway, it is still bugging me :D

Why can't the German half-track attack an enemy unit in a truck?
It can fire at infantry on foot. Shouldn't make a difference.
Is this intended?

The Me410 has better stats than the Bf109G in just about all areas.
Still, the cost is the same.

Marder I and II cost the same, but the Marder II has slightly better stats.
So I guess no-one will purchase the Marder I.

Sorry, I meant CP = 3 like regular infantry. Regular eng is pretty slow, so any combat engineers would probably need transport as well.

Combat eng vs assault eng could be solved with the latter having no build pontoon ability. Actually, making this distinction was a missed opportunity early in OOB. Standard eng should be cheap with cp = 2 (Seabees and Bau eng), while assault eng could be more expensive than inf and CP=4. That would ...

I really like the requests for additional Soviet units. These would make for a more interesting and particular Soviet army, maybe allow/force the players to use Soviet-style tactics.

Thanks for the feedback.
But...as you noted as well, I need some details about any issues to be able to fix them.
That said, if you played the updated US 44-45 campaign after Bru's sweep, the victory objectives should work.

Re unit spawns

You can use the 'Check Unit(s) near Hex' condition to make sure units do not spawn whenever there are enemy units with in a certain distance.
I try to remember to add to the briefing that enemy units may spawn behind friendly lines.

I'd love to see an Allied campaign or two as well, but I think it would be wiser to finish publish the Soviet trilogy.
Anyway, the devs could get another designer starting on the Allied campaigns and add new units/specialisations/game enhancements later...
