Slow Servers

I am not able to sent MP moves away through Pike & Shot and Sengoku Jidai, the clock ticks away for 60 odd seconds then tells me to try again.I do and the same happens. The FoGII , Pike&Shot and Sengoku Servers are all extremely slow at loading the Forums as well. Along with many others I can't open...

Re: How to play an Ottoman army (Great Turkish War)

Alex sums it up well. I have won with the Ottomans many, many times using such tactics. One of my favourite armies.

Re: Crecy 1346

Played my 4th game of Crecy as the English. I decided to try something a little different and redeployed all the English around the Baggage Camp giving them a tight defensive line on higher ground but without many of the ditches. After a slow steady advance the French attacked the perimeter en masse...

Re: Crecy 1346

Played my first game as the French against my French foe of the previous game.
I did as Snuggles did, a cautious co-ordinated approach so as the French army could attack all along the English front with the infantry supporting the Knights.
Worked well, result French 22% - English 51%

Re: Crecy 1346

Just finished my 2nd game, played the English again against another veteran P&S player with, like me , little experience of the game. Result, English 58% - French 63% As you can see, very, very close. In the last turn of the game King Edward III, who had pursued into a large mob of French peasants, ...

Re: Crecy 1346

Just finished my first game of Crecy 1346AD, playing the English against a veteran P&S gamer with approx 8 games of Crecy under his belt, and won.
English 3% - French 41%

Crecy 1346

Fantastic scenario Odenathus. Enjoying playing the English in a couple of MP games and about to start an MP as the French. I have not finished a game as yet & am not sure how they will end up. One suggestion I would make is that the English Longbowmen not follow up. Seems incorrect that they would p...

Light Horse charged in the rear by Hoplites with no effect ?

I had 960 good quality Hoplites charge the rear of 270 Light Horse ( they were engaged against some Light Foot ) in good going and nothing ??
Why is Disruption not caused when Mounted are hit in the rear by Heavy Foot ?

Re: War for Europe and the Near East Campaign

Many Thanks GD, I had a great time playing in your 'fun' Campaign using EN v3. That was an absolutely brilliant idea, just needs a little more tidying up around the edges as A4 has posted.

Re: War for Europe and the Near East Campaign

The Madder hatter of Morocco has ceded to the pleas of the Malbork Moslems, who recently welcomed their sun-drenched brothers from Morocco and are desperate for more salted fish. They suggest sending the Crusading Teutonic order from the Baltic mists to appropriate not only salted fish stocks but s...

Challenge for Italy posted.
KiwiLordski's Georgian Mercenaries ( 1620-1698 ) are marching on Italy.
Does the Mad King William Felipe I accept ?
KiwiLordski's 8,391 Georgian Mercanaries (8%) capture Italy after defeating Mad King William Felipe's 9,118 Italian Army (45%)

As I mentioned to you by pm, I think a 30YW version would be fun with perhaps a counter showing the tally of protestant v catholic possessions.
Definitely need a Protestant & Catholic theme in there somewhere, after all that's what it was all about.
