I know, the DMP guys modified it effectively. I'm right now modifiing the campaign.htm - it is quite easy I only change the scenario names of the campaign. I want to place a sheet about Italian units in the library too so I hope it will not hard. :) (I'm also not a master in htm programming.) Hey, t...

Halfway true. :) In about 50% of the cases, there are several supression hits and sometimes even a direct hit too. The best way is really the airforce. Plus it is a good strategy - if possible! - to fully encircle the beast and in that case only a 1 hit is mostly enough to make it retreat -> surrend...

I don't think that it would be a big problem. Such beasts will be softened anyway first with artillery and aircraft. :) Interesting. :) I have to apologise in some way because I watched the 1.02 equipment file. That explains a few things. No problem. ;) As for the KV-2 having 12 SA, it was ju...

I would still say that the more proper values of the KV-2 should be: - movement: 3 (only 25 km/h on road!) - soft attack: 12 (because of the 152mm gun) - hard attack: 7 (because it had no AP projectiles and the muzzle velocity was slow) The low initiative is correct, because of the very slow turret ...

Interesting. :) I have to apologise in some way because I watched the 1.02 equipment file. (I working with that in Italian campaign - I still have the opinion that it would be a hell of job to update every unit on the 1.04-1.05 values - specially for the new mod-units. But this opinion can ch...

Anyway, my point is that such things should be in the main game. I`d rather spend my time playing the game than working - pro bono - on it. I know I shouldn`t expect wall to wall cover of the event and I`ve never hoped to see complete (and completely historical) unit rosters for Hungary, Romania, H...

...proper markings for the yugoslav T-26 and Me-109(the one with the german cross) and for historical units for countries like Romania(for example a Skoda LT 35 or Renault R35 instead of the never used Somua S35). In the end I think the mainstream cool factor is actually the "bottom line". Romanian...

If you use the GME mod enabler nothing bad happen to you. It is easy and save. I'm also the type who are careful with such things but it worths. It is so: if you want something plus for free you have to learn something new. ;) I agree with doc99. I have never downloaded any mods for Panzer Corps bec...

Re: Unhistorical Soviet KV tanks
The gun lenght is far not so long - but it is much thicker.

Unhistorical Soviet KV tanks
I hope nobody opened yet a tread about this theme. :) I know many concerned already about the unhistorical values of the T-34 tanks. They have the same value for ground defense as the PzIVF which is not real. But I like to write about some KV tank issues. 1., These tanks were slow - much slower than...

Many thanks for the explanation! Hold passive: the unit is on vacation  So, the defender mode is only useful if we want to defend a VH. What is not 100% clear is what the "default" behavior means. Attacker: the unit has an agressive stance and will attack its way towards the closest victory hex...

Re: Settings of behavior of AI units
Thank you for the hint! I read it now, sadly that brings not that deep level of information what I need.

Settings of behavior of AI units
Can please somebody explain detailed which settings what exactly mean? (Attacker, Defender, Hold...)
In the manual it is explained but very briefly. For example: how reacts the AI when an enemy units is in sight? How defens the objectives or other towns?
Thank you!

Re: Unit cost formula
I don't think that such formula exists. I mostly look similar vehicles in the German list plus if it has to put in a campaign than take care also that it fits in (I mean it is not too cheap and not too expensive). Is there an established formula for calculating the cost of an unit based on stats ?

Yes, they are mods. Not only Turans. :) I`ve merely used that as one example. I know they had more than that. Most nations that are now pretty bare had more equipment than what they now have in game. In the future, when the Italian Campaign 2.0 is finished, I will begin to create a Hungarian Campaig...

Not only Turans. :) The Royal Hungarian Army had the following armored units in use during ww2 (not to mention the captured french tanks for anti-partisan duty): Csaba armored car, Toldi I, ToldiIIa, Nimród, Pz38(T), PzIVF, PzIVF2, Turán I, Turán II, Tiger I, PzIVH, StuGIIIG, PzIIIM, Panther, Hetzer...

Re: Spanish Civil War
There are already units created for the Spanish Civil War and for a scenario, it is portrayed in the Italian Campaign.

It would be a nice Grand Campaign add on before the 39!
