I have not looked at the way unit stats are loaded. Are the unit stats loaded with the scenario (aka, units and ability are read from units.csv and the campaign file for the abilities, and assigned to the unit instance)? But it is the kind of things that make more sense in 40K than at this scale. Epic 40k used a close combat factor that represented a lot of things (then a to hit close combat value which fulfilled a similar role): short range weapons, grenades, tank shock... It would be hard for a tank to ram 5 peopl...

It is quite possible both only appear in MP and skirmish.
I saw a Trukk in campaign once, but it was in beta.

Orks already have the Trukk!
I approve of tankbustas:
When the ork shootas get rebalanced, orks will really need a ranged unit that can take down tanks.

Some ork leaders already have a WAAAGH ability I think(I am pretty sure I could play one that in skirmish).

I am able to shoot at them by selecting their tile, but I have been unable to hit any of them (4 attacks in a row dealt 0 damage), so I thought it could be related.
Maybe they were invulnerable to shooting for a completely different reason indeed.

soldiers don't come back to their position during melee

That maye be a feature rather than a bug (it makes sense to show they remain engaged in melee), but then, they should not be invulnerable to ranged weapons when the sprites are not in the squad tiles.

The boyz there can only be killed in melee.

But then I cannot test skirmishes yet (aka until skirmishes are fixed to allow selecting from a campaign).
But I suppose that saving before a random mission might do the trick (unless I want to test orks :cry: ).

P.S. The models themselves are unfortunately not moddable. Sorry! Cheers Pip Maybe just as well, will keep the style more uniform and prevent a wildgrowth of heroes etc. Plus you guys need to earn money with dlc's too, of course. Will a more generic space marine chapter come out any time soon then?...

I have been replacing original game files, but it has been pretty messy as I forgot to backup some (or to replace some with their original versions).
This approach makes it difficult to spread any mod...

Unit focus reset sometimes in melee

Sometimes, when one of my unit hits another unit in melee, the focus resets (ie I have to reclick on my unit to issue other orders).
I think it happens whenever the target is not a vehicle.

You are right, I don't know what the values are for.
You can create a custom detachment, with limited unit selection, but then, it won't be filled most of the time.
