Re: Less Tech for some factions?

Fair points brought up. Technically, The Eastern Nations do not have the technology that the Western Nations have in WW1. Turkey, Bulgaria, Serbia, Romania and Russia. In fact I am guessing that probably Russia would be the most advanced of all those nations and despite shortages of whatever would h...

Re: CP Nerfed

I loved the AI I when I started the game. It beat me 2 or 3 times at least or maybe 4 or 5 times the first day I played. I made sure not to study the rules too well and to just learn as I went along. The Human factor here is so very vital. I had to say it but it's about exploits and focusing on wher...

Re: Ronnie vs Allied Player

It does seem as though the Russians are a little light on the Numbers. I have lost more steps on no advantage but with no Convoys and destroyed units, instead of merely depleted steps(which is what might be throwing the image off) alone the death toll is not actually a perfect mirror on what happene...

Re: CP Nerfed

(I have never played the Entente, but I will PLAY any player on here who thinks the CP have a chance and promise you, you will lose the game ; ) but make an AAR to show how ugly you lose cause I will make it a 1915 loss) Carlisimo, very interesting looking casualty list. I am no Entente Player but h...

Re: German Commanders

Remember that a commander translates his organization to the units beneath his command! Remember Commanders have a range. So if your tanks run 10 hexes out too far away from your Commander, Supply and hit some bad weather..which has happened to me.. a few turns they can be dead meat! You need all th...

Re: Alert about current total of Italian surrender cities.

Not a bad idea... Do you still remember our Italian Mechanized Corp, the one that survived 25-35 attacks? That could be inflated though? Would have been nice to know if a couple of rail depots or an empty city could have been para hit? I really think the Italians should have a 0 organization through...

Re: CP Nerfed

P.S. Incorrectly Serbia did not surrender and suffered %wise some of the highest casualties. I think of WW1, I don't think of airships bombing Artillery. Austria-Hungary weak, Turkey the sick man of Europe. In game AH is always way too powered. Also yes, Cavalry was not some super weapon, but neithe...

Re: CP Nerfed

Yeah, I thought I heard the Russians had very little ammo for those rifles they possessed. Not sure of the resource but somewhere it may have been, insane... "Russia also ran out of ammunition for its infantrymen in December 1914. The Russian Army averaged one surgeon for every 10,000 men. Many woun...

Sorry guys but just trialed the most current patch and I am rusty, it's been awhile since I really went through a full game. Although it's the end of frost 1915 and the Entente out produces Germany/Austria-Hungary...to the point where there is no point in going on in the game. My opponent is asking ...

Re: Alert about current total of Italian surrender cities.

When I hotseat in 3.0 I'm pretty sure this was my list: Tunis(?) not sure in the original manual that counted but I took it anyway for good measure Tripoli Benghazi Tobruk Palermo Messina Cagliari Rail Yard: Reggio but I assume they must be equal to half a city??? That seems logical to me Now one ki...

Re: Morris vs BattleVonWar

With Russia's Surrender, there is really nothing top secret left here. Allies set sail right as the Urals fell, accidentally put a tac on there but won't matter too too much. Both Sicily, Sardinia and France...were all covered pretty well. I'm sure this well before Russia fell. http://i58.tinypic.co...

Re: Morris vs BattleVonWar

Unstoppable Morris took The Clear Season 1943 Season to clear out the Russians and to force the end of the Bear. Despite a few losses I am pretty certain the position the Axis are in are unstoppable... D-Day in the West but a little late due to a very very strong Kriegsmarine and powerful U-boat war...

A little early for him to throw in the towel. Before he learned more about the game mechanics. You must have taught him a great deal during your game. Thanks for the deep AAR.

1.5.1 So far

Just started a game or two, and toyed around with scenarios with this mod and my thoughts outside of stability. Which personally I never had an issue with in the previous mods aside bombing naval ships. Seems like Submarines are a little bit more improved and Battleships are insanely powered now. Al...

Re: Questions about Russia

You could hotseat the game on 1942 Scenario and march a German Unit to cover Russian Ports to see if the following turns a convoy entered into your Allied side. Best way to figure out what's going on or what is needed to stop the convoys and probably would take about 5 minutes if ... As for the Balt...
