G shows the los for the hex that's currently being hovered over.
Also, this must be a valid move hex for the unit. I think you're hovering over hexes that are outside the range of movement.

The hotfix is not comprehensive. Still getting the freeze. I was in turn 14, I think, of campaign game with AI playing USA and attacking, wins the attack and has the option to advance after combat but then freezes with no further action. I see the problem. It's because the game doesn't currently support aspect ratios of 4:3 and 5:4. I'll try to make the game run on more 'square' screens, but I can't promise anything yet.

It fixes the AI freeze for some cases (I'm not 100% sure yet I've covered them all)
It fixes a PBEM issue where the game would ping the server too often
It has more feedback messages in pbem lobby

working on them. so far i've got 4 saves with freezes and fixed them all on my part. will make a patch for it monday the soonest.

Hi. Hexes 'remember' the last side to occupy them. As USA you will have to physically retake them, yes.
In your game it looks like CSA has taken the objective near Weikert's Hill. The objectives get more faded once they've been taken by CSA.
I think the victory panel reported correctly here.
