Re: Etiquette regarding ending stalled games

Most of the time I just leave them. Often I find folks will come back to given a gentle nudge via PM or discord / steam msg. IRL stuff sometimes intervenes and not everyone especially in casual friendly battles wants to crank out turns. If it isn't something I want to play anymore no big deal ending...

Re: Interested but...

No Naval stuff currently as far as I can tell :( But I've been having fun with the single player campaign so far and I'm giving a multiplayer battle a go to atm. As a multiplayer game (based on my initial impressions) I don't feel it is as compelling as FoGII or the like but the narrative campaign h...

Re: Increase Max Number of Multiplayer Games?

Schweetness101 basically lives and breathes FoGII so I'm not surprised he has hit the MP games limit.

Re: My letter to Santa Claus

While my guess is that the focus will be on finishing expanding FoGII. I'd definitely love to see a P&S 2 at some point as well.

Re: Field Of Glory module in Steam

Try activating the product key for WaTG on steam. I think the expansion serial keys are all steam keys too in the case of the FoGII ones.

Re: Field of Glory 2 - Rise and Fall Tournament

When is round 2 starting on this?

Looking at the tournaments page on the new website it is saying "Next Round: January 01 , 00:00" which doesn't seem right.

The last round one game is now complete. Pixel (Southern-Rebels 1597-1598, 7% routed / NB: Anti-Ming Side) beat Eobrian2 (Joseon 1585-1598, 41% routed) Rebels 7%/Joseon 41% Finally a victory for my Rebels!  Tough fighting in the woods since a giant forest was in the center of the ...

Re: The Ming and their enemies - Round One

Well I'm not sure I contributed that much since didn't actually win any battles yet :( .  But at least I blooded them a wee bit right??!! Maybe my luck will change and the Taoist Immortals will be with me in the second round.

Re: The Ming and their enemies - Round One

The kiwiwarlord game is nearly complete I think (within 3-5 turns is my guess). Eobrian2 one will take a bit more time. Big wood in the center is hiding most of our armies from each other. Pixel v ahuyton game is complete 0/40. Shameful Crushing Defeat for my Rebels. Victory to ahuyton's Tibetan Lor...

I really enjoyed this tournament. Some of the matchups were really interesting and the last one with the Arabs getting Byzantine allies is a particularly nifty combo.

 congrats on the release. I read Iain’s and Temple’s posts about different storefront version discount options as well as the compatibility of the export/import battles functions and that answered my questions.

Re: What triggers an AI attack?

Yup. Hurl some stones, arrows or javelins at them. I find if you bloody them a bit they tend get moving. Haven’t dug into what actually effects whether Mr. AI advances though. But, most of the time the AI can be lured with lights or cavalry.

Re: The Ming and their enemies - Round One

Also a reminder for those on the Ming side setting up games: large forces, open battle with pot-luck terrain

As mentioned above filter off

Easier to reference with it all in one place
