Re: Works in progress

Looks great! The units, rocky terrain and fence graphics are very well done.

Thanks also for the Vitoria scenario. Haven't played it yet, looks impressive!

Glad that you're not totaly absorbed by FOG2.

Constant Blood Mod - Released!

Constant Blood Mod http://fs5.directupload.net/images/171022/sv7cwrbh.jpg While working on a new version for my Sound Mod and playing around with gunpowder smoke animations, it came to my mind that adding some mild gore to the game ... well, might do no harm. Maybe that's fricking tasteless, but af...

Re: Sound Mod - Update 10/25/14

Folks, a BIG update is on its way - with much new stuff. Managed to include up to 4 alternate sounds for movement, many troop specific sounds etc.

Stay tuned!

Re: Smoke anmiatons

You're welcome, majgentob! The results of today: animation now lasts from 20 to 25 seconds, producing a larger smoke cloud that is being blown away by the wind. Unfortunately the animation ends a bit abrupt; I'll try to improve that. http://fs5.directupload.net/images/171021/x2fwf26g.jpg http://fs1....

Re: Smoke anmiatons

Hello majgentob! You don't have to mess around with emitter.fsf, all you need should be in explosions.fsf which can be found in the Core folder. Open it and scroll down to // ************ // *** SHOT *** // ************ Among other stuff there you can find (and edit) values for the duration of the s...

Re: Shadows

Could someone explain the different parameters in this file and what they do, please. Like: Fog? Bloom? None of these seem to have any effect when I change the values around... Thanks :) Hello Dino! I experimented with the settings in default.txt recently. As mentioned above, Fog determines the col...

Re: Four Seasons Texture Mod Pack - Released.

Hello Dino!

Sorry for replying that late, I'm just lurking the forum from time to time and not always aware of new posts in my threads.

Glad that you found a solution for the problem by yourself. I'm quite happy that some folks make good use of my stuff!

Re: Battle of Ligny scenario.

I agree with you that the P&S is best suitable for the time period it was built for, although I absolutely enjoy some of the 'anachronistic' scenarios, especially the 14th and 15th century ones by Odenathus. IMO the game handles this period quite well too. I'm still looking for games covering 18th a...

Re: New Period(s), New Releases?

Considering the miniature wargame called "Blucher" by sam mustafa it is possible to avoid infantry formations in a "grand tactical" napoleonic game, thus using a full brigade as a single base, this might avoid considering line, column and square; but this should be made just considering a Fragmente...

Re: Battle of Warsaw 1705 scenario

Thanks for the scenario, Paul!

From what I have seen in the early morning hours the map is beautyfully done. A question about the 'sand' tiles you've used so effectively - was the battlefield near Warsaw that sandy?

Re: Downloading Community P&S Scenarios from the library

The limitation of 64 units per side could cause problems. Regarding the size of several SYW battles a painful cutback of the OOBs would be unavoidable. Also unsure if the maximal map size of the game would be sufficient. And the lunatic pursuits had to be obliterated.

Re: New Period(s), New Releases?

I really was hoping for a XVIII century standalone game.

Not very interested in medieval warfare, I'd prefer a Greek/Roman setting. Alexander's battles would be great with this game engine. Well, we'll see. :)
