Re: Field of Glory 2 - "Allies" Feature Explained

Allies are kind of rare and often unreliable. So will there be any uncertainty as to whether allies will be available even if historically they were allied at some point in time?

Re: Field of Glory II - The Wolves have arrived

The infantry units got 20% archers as defensive POA,but if enemy don't charge, they're use less I have been playing around with those guys recently and that has been experience as well. There is very little incentive to attack them until it is time to roll them up. Has anyone attempted a mod to expe...

Re: Field of Glory II - The Wolves have arrived

Anybody notice those little 5 man units in the top Irish-Viking jpeg? They aren't skirmishers.

Re: Field of Glory II - The Wolves have arrived

Wow! This looks good! Having recently finished watching season 4 of The Last Kingdom, the timing is perfect. I think the Vikings-Anglo Saxons will my first battle.

And we now have allies!!! That feature has been on my wish list from the beginning.

Well worth the wait.

Re: Chariots receiving impact POA in non-open track terrain

I have been playing 6-7 months now with the assumption that tracks were not open terrain. I just finished a game against the Lydians in which a substantial portion of my army was aligned with tracks to counter those Lydian Lancers. Thank goodness I noticed that business with the chariots. Well, now ...

Chariots receiving impact POA in non-open track terrain

I have noticed heavy chariots receiving their 150 impact POA in non-open track terrain. Attached is a screen shot in which 2 chariots impact with both on track terrain. Is this a bug or am I misunderstanding something?

Re: Ancient Brits Vs Romans

Flanking galore!
And the tough part is holding the romans in place with warriors long enough to flank. :) Time to give it a shot.

Ancient Brits Vs Romans

Ok, I have been experimenting with warbands and particularly the Ancient Brits vs Imperial Romans. Tough battle. So any veteran hints on how to resoundingly rout the Romans from the field of batlte without desperate resort to Ms Fickle Fate?

Re: XLegione has won Biblical Division B!

Congratulation XLegionaire for a well earned advancement to division A! I thought I would share some advice about Division A provided by my advisor, Maximus Veteranius. He is missing half an eye, one kneecap, three toes and talks with a stutter from his short stint in Div A...but learned much of val...

Re: The Rally Point (discussion and questions)

I don't know what exactly Sunny is burning, but after my experience with him on the field, I can only conclude that it is clearly the GOOD SHIT. Sunnyboy is pretty tight lipped but my spies embedded deep within his ranks reported that he is a steely eyed, pox ridden vet with a bad case of scurvy. R...
