Your game is now up ready to accept antipasta. I'll pm the new password - there was a bug preventing kilroy from using the orginal password as it was too long.... doh! The next round is not due to start till January so you have plenty of time. I think I may have run into the same problem; round thr...

Argentoratum 357AD Scenario

In 357AD the Caesar (junior emperor) Julian of the Western half of the Roman Empire was campaigning against Germanic tribes that had taken advantage of the civil war of 350-353AD t to invade Gaul. One of these tribes, the Alamanni, under their king Chnodomarius met the Romans in battle near Argentor...

GBoH Scenario (Granicus 334BC)

I've created two versions of this scenario, the original historical deployment (Arrian version), and one after the Macedonians have moved a little closer to the Persians. The computer AI will have the Persian LC crossing the river between the opposing armies as soon as they get a turn, when they act...

I've given the bows to some of the later Roman Cavalry (not the Parthian Cats), and the AI will not use the bows at all. The human player can use them, but the computer will not. You can make the AI use the bows by editing the game-fixed.xml file: just change the skirmish value of the desired troop...

The Battle of Adrianople 378AD After Action Report

In 378AD the Emperor Valens marched against the Goths to quell a rebellion in Thrace. The battle began as the Roman left wing cavalry and their second line of infantry were still deploying. The Emperor was to lose his life and two thirds of his army in a battle which would have far reaching conseque...

Adrianople 378AD Scenario

In 378AD the emperor Valens led an army into Thrace to crush a rebellion of the Goths and their allies. In the resulting battle the Gothic cavalry struck the Roman left flank before their cavalry and second line of infantry had been fully deployed, resulting in the destruction of two-thirds of the R...

Pomakli I wouldnt go so far as to say yes absolutely, its just a hunch I have from playing... I have noticed a pattern in the ai in the larger user made scenareos where the heavy cavalry units really dont move as agressivley as other units and often dont really engage until the end of the battle. A...

Nice, will check these out once I gave 1.03 up and running. Just curious, how are you going to simulate the Byzantine Catapharacts. I dont think the editor will allow cat's to be armed with bows. BTW are you using http://www.ianm1.plus.com/index.html for the scenareo conversions? If so you have onl...
