Sorry you are having difficulty with those stages. If you cannot get past them any other way you could temporarily turn the difficulty down to Centurion level, which will temporarily raise the quality of your army and lower that of the enemy. Things that need testing in this beta are: 1) The MP lobby tooltips should be fixed for allies in MP battles from TT Mod, Silk Road or Mercenaries mod. In game, it is F2, and the screenshot is stored in /Documents/My Games/FieldOfGlory2/SCREENS

This works the same for all versions of the game.
