Please forgive me if this question has already been asked. As far as the Germans go, what battle awards are there except for Iron Cross 2nd Class and Hero of the War for ground units? If so what does it take to get a 1st Class Iron Cross, Knight's Cross, etc.? Thanks in advance.

I concur with willgamer and TheGrayMouser. Entrenched infantry was a key element in the old PZG. I wish it was so in this game. And maybe, just maybe the German gunners could get it straight between HE and AP rounds.
