Getting the Gaul C in C at the edge of the board rewarded by at least a draw for the Gauls is finetuning this scenario. How about that ? The map is eyecandy and the Roman Legions have different colours. Great job.

Re: Spartacus(Scenario)

Gladiators being one person units. Any developers notes about their use ? Are there special rules for them ? They are not sub commanders, but regular units of 1 man. Facinating.

Re: Field of Glory II Tournament Suggestions

Knock Out keeps the winners interested while the losers don't have to be motivated to play. As they are obliviated and out of the tournament. Yes, half the players are obliviated each round. Life can be cruel sometimes. It isn't as simple as that. In a conventional knockout tournament the wi...

Roman, 219-200 nice balance of units, Hastati/Principes supported by Velites going for an assault make it an army with a solid strategy.

:D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D Best joke of the year :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D Wanted to see how far the farce of calling this a simulation was going. So decided to play Carrhae with the Romans just now. First of all I deployed my troops on a frontal line stretching it both sides as far as...

Re: Field of Glory II Tournament Suggestions

Would it be possible to build an automated knock out tournament capable of coping with 64 players minimum? It would also have to be able to cope with an awkward number of entries, say 77, which would involve 13 first round matches and 51 byes giving 64 qualifiers for the second round. Possibly you ...

Re: Field of Glory II Tournament Suggestions

A Punic Tournament. Carthaginians facing Romans. Players choose for one side. Line up the Romans versus the Carthaginians. After the first round the best of each team meet in the next round. The best Roman meeting the worst Carthaginian. The number of participants and the number that go to the next ...

Tigranocerta which armies ?

The Tigranocerta scenario in multiplayer does not give the names of the armies involved. Just a minor omission, can you add those names please.

Re: The Republic in Crisis Mini Campaign

After the initial defeat Spartacus army crushed the Romans! The battle was bloody and the advantage swung back and forth. Finally Romans, surrounded by a furious mob, broke and fled. The spirit of freedom was so high among the rebels that day that many of those who were routed in the initial clash ...

Yes, they are. Add to that the insight you collect about an epic battle of history. A list of current win loss ratio of each of the epic battles would make it better to see wich one is the most balanced.

Re: Dropped MP games

Hi Whilst 90%+ of my MP opponents have been brilliant there are a couple of opponents who have disappeared into the ether leaving the games cluttering up my games list...any way to "claim" the game of even just remove it from the list? That will be added in the next patch. How about this:...

Re: Reward for historical Formation

IMO one of the main historical feature that is not reproduced in this game (and in many if not all games) is that there is no sense (or there is only a little sense) to use more than one line of cohorts. IMO there should be some way to withdraw from melee by infantry units without being routed and ...

Keep seeing people posting that they have trouble with fighting the Indians and keep losing. Well I've done 3 so far and this is a typical result: https://i.imgur.com/X1H9TKK.jpg So I'm wondering what armies people are having trouble beating the Indians with. I've just used Seleukids and Makedonian...

Reward for historical Formation

It would be great if troops get a reward for being in the formation they are trained for. Phalanx should get a reward for being in line, both flanks with a friend. Legion should get a reward for being in checkerboard, two friends supporting their back. I think an increase in quality would be an exce...

Great, thanks for the effort! To use this, do I create a "Mod" folder under the FoG2 and unpack it there? PDGuru's mod is not yet in the recommended form, as it is designed to load into the main build. We STRONGLY recommend that you do not mod your main build. We are working with him to he...

Re: The Republic in Crisis Mini Campaign

The Romans did meet their Spanish equals but their rebel friends did run as fast as their sandals could bear. The Romans did win round A. The match was fought under good sportmanship.
