BA wont load on Steam

Spends forever at the initial splash screen with "Checking for updates."

Also get "BA_STEAM.exe fatal application error 0x80000003 ExpFlags: 0 ExpAddress: 0x00488730 Please report!"

sounds like a permissions issue, check firewall and anti virus program to see what or which one maybe causing the issue

It does, but that's not the same as always working with whatever warning page a firewall might send back instead of the expected data
