Next unit: the Crusader III:

You can see the original Crusader of BA and the Valentine III with some minor modification.

My models are a bit smaller than the original models... May be the need to be re-size?

Gorgeous again!
I think the best way to describe our operations to date is that they have violated every recognized principle of war.

I need to add the icons, the slot icon and mainly some animations. I will send you all files when I finish.

Thanks, Amaris! You are right, the turret looks a little better and that is most certainly a six-pounder.

Amaris, you could also add the crusader AA
Find it on Wikipedia
Also maybe add the grant tank, if you've heard of it

The Lee is coming as part of the mod, but the Crusader AA isn't. It wasnt used in Tunisia, but in Europe D-day and afterwards.

105mm of pain. Lol, its coming. You cant really simulate the US Army in that theater, especially Kasserine later, without the 105mm as an on map emplacement.

Hi Pat.

Here I was wondering how the new units would go - problem solved!

They look fantastic.

Can't wait to try the scenarios in the beta.

Thanks, Rob, I can't either. I am locked in my study this weekend chained to my computer working on maps and stats. My wife may throw me some food if I look pathetic enough. :)

Now THATS one scary North African force! Do you plan on adding Motorcycle units? (Scouts) I forgot to tell pat but the crew should be of two and be allowed to dismount at any time. If you can mod this without a crew, it is inactive. No weirdness with empty bikes causing havoc behind enemy lines :)

Maybe later by Kasserine (Motorcycle recon), as they were very active then in 10 Pz DIVs recon forces. They won't "dismount" (50-100 m squares and no one else was trained to use them....some average INF ain't steve mcqueen in the great escape. :) ).

What we will see in RTT'42 is Recon SMG in Recon sdfz 250s. See my thread on Recon at viewtopic.php?f=105&t=46205

For the Panzerknackers above, they are converted Panzerbusche teams armed with SMGs and extra assault charges. By mid-42 Wehrmacht Divisions, especially Panzer Divisions, began converting the now largely ineffective AT rifle teams in order to provide a more effective solution to the Infantry AT problem. One that wasn't really solved for them until they began copying American Bazookas captured in Tunisia to develop the Panzerschreck used in Sicily.

I have been a scripting/squads hermit today. I finally finished the German OOB (whew) for the campaign, awaiting Aramis' final models. The germans and the British are the largest portions. Now on to the Italians.....

Late Tunisia, but making it. Doing 75mm and 150mm Infantry gun emplacements too. Just did the stats. Taking a well deserved break for 10 minutes or so. :P
