? Downloading campaigns and scenarios

Post by demyansk »

Hi,

I am still playing through the campaigns on Steam. I was wondering, I have the ability on Steam to download campaigns and I was wondering if I have to do something different to download and install a campaign from the forums right here?

Thanks

No - the Steam version works in exactly the same way as the non-Steam version with regard to downloading user campaigns. Steam Workshop integration is not implemented.

Hi Pip, Thanks for the reply - I guess I need to know about installing the new campaigns into the Steam folders?

Nope - as with the non-Steam version all custom campaigns live in My Documents/My Games/BBCBA/CAMPAIGNS (or MULTIPLAYER for multiplayer campaigns). That is assuming you don't use the in-game download system for "official" mods.

What do you do with a CPF file?

On its own it is useless. It needs to be uploaded and referenced by an LST file:
