Normandy Anglo-Canadian SP Campain

Post by dkdom »

L-O everyone, I'm back... :D

This one is a huge one... 25 maps in two parts. All inspired by real engagements from june to july 1944 un the anglo canadian sector. (Rots, Buron, Carpiquet, Villers Bocage, Lingevres and others). The war of the villages.
The british skins I used in my Armors campain were done in faxt for that one?

I hope you will enjoy it because It was my biggest work and some of these maps (Buron, Rots), are the first I have made for this game.

Have a good fight, I try to come back soon to re-upload the other campains.

Second-to-last mission for the second campaign: that's a lot of Churchills.

Are these .CPF files for IPADs or MACs orthe like? How do you open (or convert) them on a Windows machine?

You can download mods on any platform. You need to use the links in the integrated download dialog as .CPF files are intermediate files which you cannot action.

Cheers

Hi Pip long time no talk. I'm sadly a bit confused regarding how to download these campaigns on a PC. dkdom posted .txt files and not .lst files ?

I am looking forward to playing these maps but as others I have loaded. The problem is I am having troubles downloading them. What URL do I put into the dialog in the game?

Thanks.

Looks like the links to these campaigns finally rotted.

I could probably make them available to you in a zip file via direct emailing, if you want

That will do nicely, since even though I have the campaigns technically visible in the community downloads menu, I can't even download them and instead get an error message instead.

Yes that is odd, they are giving an error message which says error code 934. Maybe something is wrong with the BA server, although other scenarios are downloading okay.

I have just gone into the server and there is no trace of this campaign there, so I don't understand why it is appearing in the Community Downloads menu in the first place.

At the time when the link was still valid (which may have been about a year ago or so), I had copy-pasted the LST link into the setting where you could add community maps that weren't officially featured in the community scenarios. Usually scenarios that are added to the list via the "add scenario" feature (i don't know what else to call it) will have a different text color, at least when they first appear. I'm not sure if they automatically download after being added, but either way it's quite a shame that these links don't last very long.

As much as I hate bringing this thread back up after several weeks of silence, I'm going to make the assumption that Anglo-Canadian campaigns are effectively lost forever. I might be wrong in that statement, but due to current circumstances I'm inclined to believe so.

A zip file would be ideal, if possible. If not then I'll take whatever other method is possible, if any.
