Div B result ...
flatsix518 Mamluk Egyptian (early) 1250 – 1285 AD 34/31
claymore Swiss 29/46 Win
Both armies were well battered by the end. Flat dismounted his mamluke cav and the terrian was not pike friendly. excellent work by the Swiss lights to turn the tables.
A good game - who says that the Swiss are one dimensional. It depends on how you play them

well it depends who they play against. the mamelukes are also one-dimensional. what's worse, if i'm not mistaken, a dismounted mameluke becomes essentially a 13 pt dailami but still costs 19 pts, a loss of 6 pts. Multiply by the number of dismounted mamelukes and it adds to a lot of light foot to take on the swiss light foot.

Div B Result
voskarp WotR Richard III 43/43
claymore Swiss 1400 – 1424 AD 38/45 win
a very tough battle. the english longbows fought a long retrat to the wooded hills. forcing the swiss to fight in non advantageous terrian. then the english foot knights waded in. I was lucky to scrape a win. A good game.
Cheers, claymore

True, the swiss did have the numbers, so they got ++ for overlaps more so than the mamelukes. As to the dailami .... 19 points is a more representative value for these supa-troopasfogman wrote:well it depends who they play against. the mamelukes are also one-dimensional. what's worse, if i'm not mistaken, a dismounted mameluke becomes essentially a 13 pt dailami but still costs 19 pts, a loss of 6 pts. What a battle! Okie win over Supervark: Cypriot's 48/48 VS Khwaruzmain 24/25. I truly think this should be considered a draw rather then a win! When the differance is only 1 point!!!
What a great last battle of the turney for me. Okie

A Div B Result ...
kilroy Komnenan Byzantine (later) 1150 – 1204 AD 41/39
claymore Swiss 17/39 win
To win this one the swiss had to ignore the horsies and go for the tough Byzt heavy foot (and their camp ). I was closer that the final scores indecate.
Cheers, Claymore
