Negative. I hope it is caused by only positive real-world experiences.

Re: FGH'40 Tournament
you're averaging a released new scenario every 3 days. Keep up the good work. =)

Re: FGH'40 Tournament
To be honest, the maps were designed earlier this year. All I had to do was placing the units and fixing the scenario script filejcb989 wrote:you're averaging a released new scenario every 3 days. Keep up the good work. =)

I tried the Walshoutem map. What are French/German objectives no flags showed, bar two, when is opened it?

Seems I forgot to fix the victory condition scripts in Walshoutem. Will have a look at it when I get home.
Re: FGH'40 Tournament
There are four flags for German side, but victory conditions say French victory.

Re: FGH'40 Tournament
I've found what caused the confusion in the victory conditions in Walshoutem. This will be fixed in the next map pack update. But I will wait to release the update until I got more feedback on all scenarios.

Just started the Poucet game against Brummbar44. German infantry advancing under indirect artillery fire superb. That added note of realism as the Landsers trudge through the corn. Can this be incorporated in all the attacking maps what a twist that would be... Brilliant.

Re: FGH'40 Tournament
Most likely the next tournament will start the earliest in the middle of September, so you should be back. But I'll reserve a place for you in case we'll start earlierglenghiscan wrote:I'm going to Crete on my hols for the next couple of weeks so I'll be inactive if the next tourney starts meantime don't forget to pencil me in
Have a nice time on Crete! Btw, yesterday I got an idea for a new scenario, this time on Crete, but for BA2

Re: FGH'40 Tournament
I'm trying to design each scenario to be somewhat unique, trying to find different challenges for the two sides depending on the map. This is the first time both sides got much indirect artillery on the map as support. I think it's an interesting concept, but it wouldn't be good for all scenarios to be like thisguardsman wrote:P-A

Re: FGH'40 Tournament
Just wanted to say, nice work Cavehobbit!
I've been playing a few of these now and it's been a long while since I've played (still getting used to the over-moraled/over strengthed units...not sure I'm keen on those still)...but the maps are great, the tension between the forces is good (generally) and I like a lot of the additions (I know they aren't so new...but good use of Leaders for example, and being a gunner, love, love, love the artillery!).
While I may have some suggestions, I do look forward to playing in the tournament...sign me up!
