Nice to post these! Does the activation of the codes on hard void unlocking the uber-hard difficulty levels?

No, using cheat codes does not effect unlocking of bonus levels.

BTW, bonus difficulty levels are not necessarily uber-hard, but they are different from all the rest, and each offers some unique challenge.

why do we need cheat codes

We use them for Beta testing, and modders can use them testing newly created scenarios/campaigns.

If players want to use them, it is up to them...

hopefully they can't use them in multiplayer!

In multiplayer all cheat codes are disabled.

You can "tweak" mods as you can do it with the game. You can use the cheats.

What does this do?

I mean, what effect does the aux slot limit have? Doesn't most maps just leave this setting to zero?

I'd think that if you added enough aux slots to have more than aux units currently deployed then you'd be able to buy an aux unit

Great codes:) I donĀ“t think so we need codes, but sometimes you have to save your units or load the scenario:) If you play hard difficult you will have a bonus?:)

Its human nature. As long as there are people, there are going to be those who want to take the easy way out. {Im refering to the general players, not the developers/playtesters :D }

Experience cheat code

I tried the experience cheat code but it didn't work. I tried to increase the experience, of a newly purchased unit in order to set it's experience to 2. Whenever I try to do it with a unit that already has some experience, after pressing Ctrl+Alt+Shift+C ---> higher value than the present experience level, the unit's experience drops to zero. Any commens on this?

Thanks

Select the unit
Ctrl-Alt-Shift-C
type "exp 200" (2 stars)
then maybe Ctrl-Alt-Shift-C, "str 12" as well.

Is that what you did?

Ehm, no I was pressing Ctrl-Alt-Shift-C ---> "exp2" :oops: Then I tried "exp20" but did't get to "exp200" :shock:

It worked just perfectly. Thanks!

Do you have to retype the cheat codes at the start of every senario in the main campain or does it stay untill you cancel it your self?

If you modify your unit(s), those changes will be carried over to the next scenario.

I was forced to use the cheat codes for the first time ever last night. In vanilla Overlord, just when I was ready to push the Allies back into the English channel, the AI went nuts and bought about 20 Sherman Firefly tanks and threw them at me all at once. :evil: I had to give myself an extra 3000 prestige to save my core from annihilation. :wink: What the AI did was kind of odd though. If it had the prestige to begin with, why wait til they are down to 2 cities and almost wiped out to use them? Can the AI cheat when it is about to lose?

I can get most of the codes to work but not "reform units." Any idea why that may not be working? Do the killed units show up immediately on the reserve units list or only at the end of the scenario? Or does it matter when we call up this code, i.e. right after a unit is killed or anytime, even a turn after our units are killed?
