Re: Panzer Corps Grand Campaigns Trees Art
I have a question to the picture for GC41. Maybe i am just stupid right now, but for me it looks like the armoured train is turning in an almost 90° angle in the distance (right below the wing of the airplane). Probably my eyes decieve me, so can someone shed some light on this?
Re: Panzer Corps Grand Campaigns Trees Art
Actually i think your eyes are not deceiving you unless my are doing the same out of solidarity. The train really seems to turn at 90° unless of course the train actually ends there and the train cars we see there are the end of another train.

Well, even if that is the case, one of the trains would have to turn at 90 degrees anyway. Never noticed this before now.Tarrak wrote:unless of course the train actually ends there and the train cars we see there are the end of another train.

Re: Panzer Corps Grand Campaigns Trees Art
Anyone else getting bad links for 1940 and 41? I hope this can be fixed as I love these paths and refer to them a lot.
Re: Panzer Corps Grand Campaigns Trees Art
Thanks for the report. I updated the links!proline wrote:Anyone else getting bad links for 1940 and 41? I hope this can be fixed as I love these paths and refer to them a lot.
As a side note, you can also refer to all of these campaigns in the Panzer Corps game at any time as well. Access the in game Library, and select the Grand Campaign button, and then each image can be selected to review the art and campaign trees.
Re: Panzer Corps Grand Campaigns Trees Art
Is there going to be Sealion added as a Tree as well any time soon ?

Re: Panzer Corps Grand Campaigns Trees Art
I dont seem to have this option ?
Is this maybe a problem with the german localization ?
Or perhaps a corrupted install ?
Or am I not seeing what is there ?

Re: Panzer Corps Grand Campaigns Trees Art
Do you have 1.24? If you do then it would be due to the localisation files not having been updated so the German library would still show old stuff.
In this case you could set the language to English, go to the library and click Sealion Campaign.

you made no mistakeIscaran wrote:I dont seem to have this option ?

the tree is only missing in the german version
and there was a small patch to fix that thing
but i can't find it anymore, i iirc it was in on of the Sea Lion Threads in the Announcements section
These threads are moved now and i dunno where to find them
look for a file named library.zip which contains two files (library.htm + campaign_sl.htm)
after you copy (and overwrite the old files) to the /Panzer Corps/Library directory you get the Tree also playing with the German Version
I'm sure the admins can locate these files easily
Sorry for the rather incomplete help

Fix for SeaLion Tree
Re: Panzer Corps Grand Campaigns Trees Art
Ah - thx.
Now its fixed...campaign_sl.htm was indeed missing from the localization/de/library folder
And library.htm was different file (replaced it)

Re: Panzer Corps Grand Campaigns Trees Art
Artwork looks very good because:
1. colours are matching situation (bright in 1939 picture, dark city and bright sky in 1942 and darkness in 1945 east)
2. The tanks are realistic, and their "poses" differ from each other,
3. Trees matches art behind them.
Sorry for my English.

Re: Panzer Corps Grand Campaigns Trees Art
I've been using these charts while transferring/redoing the Grand Campaigns to Order Of Battle. Beautiful and a big help.
But has anyone done something similar with Sea Lion? i'm a little confused about the scenario flow as there are some exotic scenarios here like Gibraltar, irish Sea, Reykjavik etc.
Thanks for any help
Erik
