Panzer Corps v1.14 update

The 1.14 patch for Panzer Corps includes a huge number of fixes for the Grand Campaigns and adds full German and Russian language versions of the Grand Campaign. You can download the patch here.

Below is the full changelog:

Panzer Corps Wehrmacht:
Added German and Russian languages to the Grand Campaign.
New library images added for the Grand Campaigns showing the tree of missions for each campaign.
PDF version of the manual has been updated to v1.14.


DLC 1939:
Poznan A briefing addition:
Note: SE Unit limit for this campaign is 2. Experience cap has been set to 225.

Poznan:
Added Second Lieutenant Rudel hero.
Added mission text:
We're sending you a special reconnaissance unit to supplement your forces!
Although the flight leader of the unit has been deemed unsuitable for combat, there are those that believe he may have untapped potential... To that end, I highly recommend you not disband this recon flight, but instead make the maximum use out of it in every battle to come!
Geographical changes:
Gorlitz renamed to Glogau
Jelenia Gora renamed to Trebnitz and flagged German
Zielona Gora renamed to Nowy Tomysl
Several Polish towns have been replaced with fortified checkpoints
Trigger fix: Marginal victory now awarded for axis control of 2 or more primary objectives


Lodz:
Polish position around Kutno is much stronger, but also set to hold position fire AI setting.

Special reinforcement unit has arrived!
You are strongly advised to bypass the fortified defenses in front of Lodz instead of attacking them head on!

Piatek:
Trigger fix: Marginal victory now awarded for Axis control of more than 0 primary objectives
Loss now results from control of 0 primary objectives.

Wyszogrod:
Replaced D Loss text with
A very disappointing performance, Herr General. As you were unable to secure your objectives we will have to devote additional resources to clear out the remaining Polish resistance that is now taking positions within Kampinoska Forest.
This, however, is no longer your concern. As a result of your failings, you have been ordered to return to Berlin immediately as an investigation of your actions in this campaign has begun. You are dismissed!

Kampinoska Forest:
Foreshadowing units around Modlin have been strengthened, but also set to hold position fire AI settings.

Modlin:

To ensure that your prize can be properly… questioned, you must then escort the General back to your deployment area, specifically the area on your map marked as 'Capture Zone A'. Any information that can be retrieved from Giraud, and the demoralizing news of his capture, outweighs any territorial gains you might acquire here, so keep in mind that capturing and then escorting Giraud is your primary objective.
All French infantry that spawn in the central area of the map after Giraud has been captured have been removed.

Note: The Mega Pack already includes the patch, so you don`t have to install it when you buy the Mega Pack!

Is this patch retroactive for the DLCs, or do you have to start a new DLC "campaign" ?

I don't think you have to start a new campaign. Some of the changes might only take effect once you started a new scenario and not on your current one.

Quick question:

If I own all 10 DLCs and apply this patch, is it essentially the same as owning the mega pack minus the ease of installation?

In other words does the mega pack contain any new content outside of the original DLCs and this patch?

No the mega pack does not contain any additional content you would not get by patching the single DLCs to the newest version.

No the mega pack does not contain any additional content you would not get by patching the single DLCs to the newest version.

Are these guys auxillary units, cores or standard heroes you can aad to your divisions like usual ?

Most new heroes are CORE units. Rather than give pre-made forces of the old DLC a set of standard heroes, we thought this would be a much more interesting approach. This is why these new heroes are typically earned towards the beginnings of each DLC campaign. Of course to collect as many of these special historical heroes as possible, it's best to begin your Grand Campaign as early as possible (1939). It should be said that there are a rare few AUX ones too, and one very special case!

What the hell? All these new heroes and they get added to my core too?
Now I need to replay and finish the whole Grand Campaign for the 3rd time. Thank you. Seriously, thank you so much.!

Thanks for the quick responses.

Another question:

After starting a new campaign with the 1.14 patch using the old DLCs, will the saved games work with the mega pack when I get around to buying it?

I have all 10 DLCs installed now, and would like to play through the entire campaign (both east and west), but it's possible I may buy a new computer and reformat everything before I'm finished. Will the saved games work with the new mega pack or do I need to install the 10 DLCs again?

I installed patch 1.4 before I later bought the Mega Campaign and installed it over. All my saves are working fine.

Adding appropriate historical heroes to the game was a simply brilliant idea. I was forced to re-start the campaign from the beginning in order to savor the complete experience. As far as Modlin now, the new heroes give completely new tactical options, especially that super hero Oleh Dir!

There are minefields at the maginot line! Also Im not 100% sure but I think the railway line got a bit extended closer to Metz.

After Minsk41 scenario I have 2 Rudel stuka and 2 heroes. Is this a bug or was intended? If it isn't a bug I might upgrade the recon unit to 110 and use as scout plane with 4 spotting.

Is witched the first Rudel to Bf110 at first chance. It lost its hard-attack, but simulates mass-attack in the air and has more fuel as a stuka to explore the area. It works fine. The low soft attack is a little usefull to dig out too....
