New Player Question

Good morning gents.
I am totally new to Pz Corp as of last night.
I have a question concerning scenarios and the expansions.
I am a weird sort in that I have no desire to play as the axis in any of my beloved WWII strat games and that is the reason I have put off getting into Pz Corps for so long.
Of course now I can play as allies and I am happy :)

My question is if I buy the Grand Campaign 1939-1945 Mega Pack, I know that I cannot play the campaigns as the allies (i hope that changes in the future of course) but can I play all the scenarios as allies?
And from what it says it comes with some 150 scenarios? is that in addition to the campaigns?

Sorry that isnt very clear to me so I thought i would ask.

thanks for your help and look forward very much to playing this game.

If you buy the Grand Campaign 1939-1945 Mega Pack you can play all the campaign scenarios on the allied side. You can play the scenarios as a campaign, with the axis, or individually, as the allies. But they are the same scenarios, not in addition to...
I think you have to copy some files to the PzC Scenario folder. Somebody else can probably help you on that, I can't remember right now.
But those scenarios are not balanced to play as the allies... I've tried one or two and they are really unbalanced and too easy.
Better to look on the "Scenario Design" sub forum. I'm sure there are a couple of good allied campaigns there. The quality of the PzC MODDERS is really, really good...

Ahh ok thank you for the fast reply.
That makes sense. I will take a look at some of the campaigns made by the community.
I really wish I could enjoy playing as Axis as I know I am missing out on a lot of great game play. Just cant seem to do it.

Thanks again

Confusing.
You can buy Panzer Corps and play "The Campaign" as German only. These battles take you through the main WWII battles at leaps and bounds.
It includes unconnected "scenarios" where you play theses same battles individually as either German or Allies.

If you buy Panzer Corps or Afrika Korps then you can buy the Panzer Corps Mega Pack '39 to '45.....this is the huge 10 part "Grand Campaign" that takes you year by year from Europe to the East then the West. There are 10+ battles per year but these are also called "scenarios" (150 total) by the company. They are played as German only.
I believe you have to buy either Panzer Corps or Afrika Korps as base games to use the Mega Pack.

Allied Corps is the new game that is the WWII campaign that has a similar setup to Panzer Corps. WWII battles played as Allied only that take you leaps and bounds. There also are the individual scenarios played as German or Allied.
As of today there is no year-by-year Allied Grand Campaign (yet). THAT is what YOU want but they will release it one part at a time like the Panzer Corps Grand Campaign.
So...you need to get STARTED now and learn "blitzkrieg" the war doctrine now referred to as "combined arms." Panzer Corps or Afrika Corps and Mega Pack. Practice and gain experience here so you'll be ready for the Allied Grand Campaign.

Wow thanks for the detailed reply.
Yes that is what I am wanting and look forward to it.
I bought Panzer Corps the main game and I also bought the new Allied Corps. I figured I would get the main Pz Corps game because I seen a lot of the user made scenarios require that.
So I should have plenty to keep me busy and learning while they get to work on their evil plan to take all my money buying the Grand Allied Campaign :)

Thanks again
