I wonder why a open-beta needs a expiration date. I suggest to make a new beta3 only changing the expiration date (perhaps 2015 or 2022) so the devs will have enough time to make the final version 1.21.

+1. This is a bit overdue.

There is a cheat, if you are playing 1.21, and you've closed it and it won't open now. Do this:

a) reset your system time to a time earlier than 10/1/2013.
b) start the game.
c) return your system time to current.
d) don't close the game; it will stay active until closed despite the date.

Or, just repeat the time change and restart it when necessary.

Btw, would it be possible to make the Kradsch├╝tzen available in '39 in this patch? Small change and it would make them finally useful in the campaigns.

What's the fuzz with 1.21 anyways? I believe the only major benefit is getting 1.20 rules for DLC?

On the other hand it seems that developers are in very tight schedule so that's probably the reason for the delays. They are not commenting any suggestions on the forum so I believe updating PzC gameplay is not a priority right now. Where are also mods BTW?

Part of the fuss is that several times the patch was to just come out and was delayed :) and yes, 1.20 for Grand campaign is a big deal, nothing "just" about it.

I hope the patch testing is finished soon, I am waiting for it so that my Grand Campaign will run perfectly fine with the new rules.

Which is why I caution people not to rush them. Imagine the shitstorm in here if they rush the patch and release it only to find some bugs again...

I don't think you could call a time-span of close to 5 months 'rushed.' Usually an entire game is out in that time.

As they already commented, most of that time was spent with working on the iOS version, not the patch. And developing such a port can take well over 5 months for one single developer. I've done such ports myself, and it took us 3 months with 3 people.

Hi guys,

we think we are done. The complication comes from the patch being for PzC, Allied Corps, Afrika Korps and each of those having English, German & Russian installers. There are 9 versions to check against. We kept finding edge cases we had missed.

Since the last patch we've added Russian versions & German AK and AC and English AC and these were the ones adding the issues.

Its the possible permutations that's killing us here but we think we are finally there! Not long to wait now!
