"Super" heroes in US DLC 44-45 (Spoiler?)

I downloaded and installed all three US DLCs and took a quick look at the first scenario in each DLC. I remembered that some of the German DLCs had really strong heroes attached to units if you chose not import your existing core force between DLCs. Sure enough, there were two really strong heroes in US '44-'45! A "bomber ace" and really famous US infantryman...

Do you get these heroes during the normal course of US DLC '43? If not, I'd be tempted to abandon my core force after '43 and go with the pre-made force that begins with '44-45!

You get to import your core as per all GC series.

The bomber hero appears in DLC 42, the infantry hero in DLC 43. I added both heroes in the pre-set core of DLC 44-45 and the bomber hero in the pre-set core of DLC 43.

Why are there fewer 'super' heroes in the US Corps (and Soviet Corps) DLCs than in the German GC? You get more heroes just in 1939 playing as Germany in the GC than you do playing in the complete DLC series of any of the Allied powers.
