Bug - US Corps '42 - Gun Range

Bug - Panzer Corps - US Corps '42 - Anzio Landings

This bug might have existed in other scenarios, but I'm noticing it in Anzio.

You start with 2 Light Crusiers. Range is "4", but I'm offered targets up to 14 hexes away (and hitting them).

It also appears as the Leopold on the German side (also range "4") is able to hit targets from across the map.

[Edit]

Ah, I finally get it. The naval units have an Admiral assigned, for +10 range. The Leopold has +15 range due to its hero.

Thanks for the explanation.

That's a massive boost tho - too much really.

It's to simulate the history naval gun support for the beachhead. Pacific General did that by using a scenario range modifier, Panzer Corps heroes instead to extend range or other special abilites. Has the since side effect to add some flavor to the game than a dull scenario based modifier.
