- open your Steam Library
- right klick on Panzer Corps
- klick on "view downloadable content"
- klick on tab "Betas"
- look under "Select the beta you would like to opt into:"
- select "NONE - Opt out of all beta programms"

Btw, one question. Considering this seems to be the last planned patch and you're working on the next project... would there be a possibility of eventually making the game open source, if only for a selected audience, so fan patches could be made possible? I'm pretty sure the fan community for this game will stay alive a long time and I'm sure people would like to add some cool stuff despite new stuff coming out. Just asking.

i don't know, but you can change your computer date so it launches again
I didn't try again since sunday morning because i'm at work and accessing steam there will probably trigger 152" mortar shells on my head (or worse)

well yeah I could but it probably expired becasue they want to make another beta, why else would they expire it. So there's no real point in testing something that's already being updated, so I'll simply wait.

Responding to some of our community feedback, we'll soon be releasing patch 1.30.

In order to help us test the stability and functionality we've launched an Open Beta on Steam. You can access it by right-clicking on Panzer Corps in your Library, selecting Properties then Betas and selecting the Open Beta branch from the drop down menu.

Change notes:

- Special abilities shown in Purchase, Unit Details and New Equipment Available screens.
- Switch type is shown in a popup when "switch" special ability is clicked.
- Extended predictions when planning unit movement.
- Soft Cap tooltip added to old prestige tooltip.
- Launcher options for selecting legacy audio driver
- Launcher options for selecting windows graphic settings

Known Issues:

- The launcher is currently overwriting it's own settings, meaning that it's not remembering your resolution between sessions

Please let us know if you find any issues!

Other important thing that is missing: More letters for names = Max 17 characters.
I've got it well, and doing very well for translations and modifications

Example: Spanish translate (Max 17 characters OK).

They had already switched to the beta2 version (I think around the 23rd of September) , I made a post on the previous page with the updates that were listed on the Steam thread, after I found out this thread hadn't been updated. So I guess beta2 was the final one, which has now expired due to the announcement of the release of Panzer Corps Gold (1.30).

BTW, I had no problems with de-activating the beta in Steam.

I checked, the dropdown is NOT activable, so i can't play panzer corps anymore.
I'll ticket suppport today.

Try making steam deinstall and reinstall the game. Your saves won't be affected.
