Missing "attacksub" in 1.30 PC Gold

I own PZGold and it is of version 1.30. In which is trait "added "attacksub" unit trait which allows submarines to attack other submarines." But there is no "attacksub" in 1.30 Gold "Data\equipment.pzeqp". In Tutorial it doenst work too anyway - you cant attack 1 sub with another.

What? It means it is standardly inaccessible?

So do I have to restart Campaign + add after each U Boot "attacksub" in traits?

There were no plans to change behavior of subs in stock game. They behave as designed. attacksub option was intended for things like more modern era mods.

Why the Hell? Subs ATTACKED other subs in war... I turned it on in PZEQUIP etc., restart scenario, they attack, but without values attack is 0/0. Why It cant be simple turned ONN with 1 in settings like 100 other things? :evil:

Naval warfare in Panzer Corps is based on rock - paper - scissors principle, with submarine - destroyer - capital ship playing these respective roles. Making subs attacking other subs would break this principle.

From historical point of view, sub vs. sub kills in ww2 were very rare and happened mostly by accident, so this is not something we absolutely must represent in the game. You can mod it if you like, but the game will remain as it is.

Modding = is that something more that writing "attacksub" after submarines in Equipment file? I tried it, but it is not working?

It does not work, unfortunately.
The trait was added on my request, I thank the developers to fulfill my ask, but it doesnt work :(
Maybe in some last patch for the fame they could make it work :D

More things like this and I MIGHT star thinking about playing Open General instead of PC: 132 campaigns, all era MODs included (Kaiser General, ...), anything simply editable, like 2-3x more units (bike Polizei troops, ...), 2-3x more traits ("support fire" for example), ..., Structure Attack value for each unit, 5x more settings, ...

Ahh... Where were my eyes? I checked that the attack was enabled, but I completely missed that the outcome was always zero, no matter what stats. :oops:
Until the next patch is available, I could upload fixed EXE somewhere. Do you want Steam or standalone version?

Can be then there it would be possible to include in patch fix

Hi Rudankort,
I have the Steam version of the game, but it would be too much trouble for you if you upload both versions?. I know most of the people here use the standard version, and I would love most of them to enjoy of the modern submarine warfare :D

If you're going to make a small patch, can you detach the startup screen image from the PanzerCorps.exe and put the control back into the startscreen.htm please?

First of all...thanks Rudankort to show an open ear for missed things from the last patch!

My hope is also, to get another big patch/update of all the things, which the gamers asked for.


More abilities, more movement types or the functionality of movement type icons (horse transport, ski movement ...)
