Then they are both to blame.

I think goose_2 have to calculate who of them lost more time for response turns and show us the results.
I think it would be fair. I do not see the reason why Rishat was chosen by the loser.

Sorry but you are 100% wrong. Lifever never did anything wrong to blame him for. If you look back to when the round was posted is specifically said that you are to start play by the 8th of the month. Lifever did that. However is opponent rishat violated the tournament rules again by allowing a total of 2 weeks with no turns taken.

This decision seems very black and white. One person played correctly by the time limits while the other did not.

Ok, I did not see that. Maybe I'm wrong. Please show me where it is.

It is on page 25 of this thread.
"Please everyone accept the challenge by Friday, June 8th so you can get started and get enough time to finish the match."

that is what goose said.

Thanks, so I read inattentively.

Rishat would have won this game, but they did not finish the game.
It's a pity that a weaker opponent won.

Ok, doesn't matter.
Anyway i am the best player ever. Rishat is the strongest of rivals that I met, I thought he would win the tournament.

ROUND 7 Match Ups

Post by goose_2 » Mon Jul 02, 2018 3:49 am

ARE YOU ALL READY TO FEEL THE RUSH!!!!!

I am! ;)

I love this scenario because it is one of the few match ups that is really easy for the Germans, but that does not mean I always lose with the Russians!!!

I fully expect everyone to participate, but understand if anyone else wants to resign from the Tournament because they feel mistreated.
I have always intended this tournament to increase the base of players who play this game, I am not sure this has been accomplished, but I am still glad I organized this tournament.

With that said:

Round 7 Rush to Moscow: Deadline Saturday August 4th, 2018

Players on the left set up the match. (38 participants left)
Issue a Challenge:
Rush to Moscow
Paired Game
put your opponents name in the description
you need to click undo off (The system has a glitch and does not show undo as selected off, but it should be set up that way)
set the password as:
tournament

Players on the right go into multiplayer Accept Challenge, find your opponent, name to the left, type in the password,
Play your German turn

Here are the official match ups: (I really tried to avoid rematches.)
This side sets up the match vs This side accepts

Lifever vs Gwaylare
(These 2 are the last 2 left that have not lost a match, whoever wins this match up will be placing in this Tournament, maybe even first but I am not sure how that will play out...Triple elimination ;) )

No reloading as always...

Players should be playing both sides subsequently and you will have until Saturday August 4th, 2018 to complete your match so I can set up Round 8. (Kiev)

Please everyone accept the challenge by Sunday, July 8th so you can get started and get enough time to finish the match.

Again the Rules for winning:

How do you win a scenario?
Winning conditions will be based on the following:
1) Who wins the match up first. IE: You are playing your opponent and you get the last victory Objective on Turn 12, they do it on Turn 13 You win because you were faster.

2) If you both win on the same day, then it will be determined based on who has the most 2ndary Objectives. IE: You both win on Turn 12, but you have 4 2ndary Objectives and your opponent has only 3. You win because you took over and held more stuff.

3) If you both win on the same day and have the same number of 2ndary Objectives. It will come down to who ends with the most prestige to determine the winner. IE: You both win on the same day and with same number of objectives taken, but you have 500 in prestige and they have 499, you win because of your asset management.

So...If both opponents lose as the Germans, (not going to happen) but than it will come down to how much territory the Germans were able to maintain.
Starting with Primary Objectives:

1) You have 3 Primary and your opponent has 2 Primary...You win.
If those are the same...
2) It will then come down to 2ndary Objectives. You and your opponent both have 2 Primary Objectives, but you have 1 2ndary and your opponent has none. You win.
If those are the same...
3) If those end up being the same, the 3rd condition will be a little different, it will come down to how many surviving units you have on the map, not prestige.
So, you have 2 Primary and your opponent has 2 Primary and you both have no 2ndary Objectives, but you have 5 units remaining, 4 infantry and 1 tank, and your opponent has 4, 2 tanks and 2 inf...you win.

Let me know if there are any questions.

Blessings on your match ups, and as always...Stay Lutheran My Friends!

Lie on what? (That's worth another comment, sorry)

You are a special case, against special cases I take special precautions which means: Every replay has to be seen and I do proper thinking, same as with chess over mail. That's why I play round-based rather than RTS. You can answer turns all day long within an hour, that's great (in terms of videogames). I do other stuff until my kids are in bed most of the time (not everytime, otherwise I guess I lie!?) and I am in front of my W7-desktop-computer I keep around just for this tournament so I don't have replays or crashes - speaking of which: that is because of you since before those few crashes weren't an issue for anybody. So you basically are responsible for 3 players quitting.

Our game started within the timeframe. I played one turn a day at least (with one exception of two days), you missed two weeks deliberately without communication after taking heavy losses. I had to "call you back". Simple facts.

Now before you plaster the forum with screenshots of the login-screen or whatnot, rather post screenshots of your "victorious" efforts that made you demand a restart of the match... then I do the same and we all have a laugh.

You know full well that it was the explicit wishes of the organizers that I don't tell publicly about the speciality of your playstyle. That troubles me, because it took a considerable effort to not only play the game, but do all the calculation as well. I abide by those wishes since you claimed emotional stress.

Now if you claim you feel cheated, I guess justice was indeed served in more ways than I could have imagined.

I talked to my wife yesterday if I should finish that game with you regardless just to shut you up. But in her gender words: "F him, you wasted enough time on that."
Now since you chose to drag this out here after we had an amicable agreement, I abide by her wishes too and will not waste another second on you.

In case you missed it or it wasn't fat enough:
Talk it through with whomever it may concern.
I will not comment on the subject any further.
1)У нас никогда не было ни каких договорённостей;

You tell lies again:
1) We have never had any agreements;
2) I did not miss 2 weeks.
Here is a screenshot of all your turns: https://yadi.sk/i/yk76-A6B3YfDdE
There's no 2 weeks gap. As you know, without my turns you too wouldn't be able to play. And all the intervals between turns consist of missed days by me + missed days by you.
When Lifever unleashed a vile slander campaign against me at the forum, I missed 2 intervals of 4-5 days under moral pressure. You did not make turns immediately, but about a day later. You missed 8 days at the beginning +2 days from 25 to 27th june and in the end you missed 2 days. Screenshot: https://yadi.sk/i/jNSTcCiH3YfHXM In total you missed 2 weeks.
According to the rules of this tour, it must end on July 2. I have about 3 turns left to occupy your empty cities for the Germans, after almost all your units of the USSR have been destroyed. And there was enough time to finish playing if you made turns. But you didn't, because you know that otherwise you would lose. You did not manage to squeeze me out of the tournament with the help of slander, but managed to persuade the organizers eliminate me out of the tournament for no reason.
I ask the organizers to post statistics of our (me and Lifever) scenario. Then it will be obvious who was dragging out the time, and that I do not have any restarts. I also want to make sure that there are no restarts of Lifewer, who always unfoundedly accuses me of them.

From the regulations of this tour: "Round 6 Barbarossa: Deadline Monday July 2nd"
So we could play until today. I have to make about 3 turns to win. There was enough time to finish, if Lifever made his turns.
3 days before the end of the script, Goose sent me the following letter:

"Rishat,

I understand and empathize with the idea that you have felt slandered and mistreated during this tournament.
I know the pain of being slandered endlessly and wanting to clear my name.

My intentions for this whole Tournament has been to increase the game profile and participation in my favorite part of the game. (I'm sorry, because of this issue, I'm in the middle of the game, and I've got a lot of multiplayer.) me dearly. Deliberate and made my sleep uneasy.

That is why, with a heavy heart, I accept your resignation from this tournament, Rishat.

I am sorry, this is not how you want to be.

I will record Lifever as the winner of this match up: as with problems with their opponent and you.

If anyone asks why you, Rishat, have left the tournament I will tell you that they were unfairly and no longer wanted to continue.

Lifever, do not post anything in response to this email, and please do not post any text messages about this decision or the results of the match with Rishat, otherwise I would have to consider this further provocation of Rishat's name, and have to eliminate you from the Tournament for poor sportsmanship.

I am trying to make this as painless for everyone, and allowing Rishat to exit with some measure of grace.

Rishat, please understand I have come to this decision after much prayer and deliberation.
This quiet way of exiting the Tournament is the best / painless option for all involved.
Again I do not know what you wanted, nor what I wanted, but I'm making, and is final.

There is no coming back from this decision.

I wish you all the best.

Dave aka Goose "

I'm glad that Goose prayed before committing this meanness. I hope that he will buy an indulgence to clear his conscience.

I did not ask to be expelled from the tournament. I asked not to deprive me of victory and give us time to play. Time to finish was enough. But Lifever didn't make turns: https://yadi.sk/i/jNSTcCiH3YfHXM
Why should he make turns? Then he wouldl lose. And so his friend Goose has already chosen Lifever as a "winner" without a game.
Friends, why do you participate in the tournament? The winner is already appointed!
This is the most unjust and disgusting tournament I've ever seen. So much calumny and injustice I had to endure ...
I played the whole tournament from the very beginning honestly and did not lose any opponent. Here are my replays:
Greece vs. a432, victory for both sides:
https://yadi.sk/d/Wn583oOM3YfSdE
https://yadi.sk/d/rqCSYdKA3YfSwB
France against fcastrotello, faster for the Germans:
https://yadi.sk/d/OY6WMNOh3YfTKo
https://yadi.sk/d/teOe5Pnz3YfTNs
Benelux against goose_2, faster for the Germans:
https://yadi.sk/d/nsI1eU_e3YfTUJ
https://yadi.sk/d/rLTtRddA3YfTi6
Norway vs amd4ever, he surrendered for both sides:
https://yadi.sk/d/rudlQedi3YfUHz
https://yadi.sk/d/W4_ML3Bi3YfUNY
Poland vs. BoneDaddy, victory for both sides:
https://yadi.sk/d/l2iOR9Zt3YfUdZ
https://yadi.sk/d/Naps44Y13YfUh9

Farewell, I'm no longer a part of this farce ...

Round 6 Barbarossa: Deadline Monday July 2nd"

"Rishat,

I understand and empathize with the idea that you have felt slandered and mistreated during this tournament.
I know the pain of being slandered endlessly and wanting to clear my name.

My intentions for this whole Tournament has been to increase the games profile and participation in my favorite part of the game. (Unfortunately because of this issue it is no longer my favorite part of the game, and I have actually backed away from playing a lot of multiplayer.) I feel like this whole thing has given the entire gaming community a black eye, and personally pains me dearly. This whole thing has kept me deliberating and made my sleep uneasy.

That is why, with a heavy heart, I accept your resignation from this tournament, Rishat.

I am sorry this is not how you wanted this to go or to end for you, but it is the decision that makes the most sense for everyone involved.

I will record Lifever as the winner of this match up: as having problems with their opponent and you as: lost because of unable to finish and out of the tournament.

If anyone asks why you, Rishat, have left the tournament I will tell them that you felt you were being treated unfairly and no longer wanted to continue.

Lifever, do not post anything in response to this email, and please do not post any youtube messages about this decision or the results of the match with Rishat, otherwise I would have to consider this further provocation of Rishat's name, and have to eliminate you from the Tournament for poor sportsmanship.

I am trying to make this as painless for everyone, and allowing Rishat to exit with some measure of grace.

Rishat, please understand I have come to this decision after much prayer and deliberation.
This quiet way of exiting the Tournament is the best/painless option for all involved.
Again I know this is not what you wanted, nor what I desired, but understand this is the decision I am making, and is final.

There is no coming back from this decision.

I wish you all the best.

Dave aka Goose"

You really are a character.
3 turns? To take Minsk and the rest of the East? With a P3, 4 inf on foot (one being in the city north of minsk), a recon and a bike (both 2 turns away FROM MINSK to the west!) and 1inf and 1pio next to brest, that was still intact. This is straight up delusional.
Your prestige was absolute empty apart from the prestige you would get from making ground. You blatantly lie now.

I don't have to deal with you and I won't, cause I already did.

I only post this as I am the only one to prove this wrong.

Image

Additional info: 1 T60 close to the bridge pioneers. In Rishats lorry with 2 is his second 122. And that's that. Rest is inf in the cities... +1 in the north. His prestige is about one unit of conscripts. (Calculation of every unit is right next to me. I also got footage to cover every kill)
My 3 lorries are 2 17,5 and the Nebelwerfer (each in the ideal position to fire next round and drive away)

[Edit: Look at my screenshot and look at the fog of war on the left... that's about his position. He was about to attack to get over the river to Minsk.]

Now like I said before: Please post your glorious efforts as Axis and we can all laugh it off...

So much for the "he won, but was robbed"-claim.

Now this is the other thing and why I kept my mouth shut about the details.

Throughout the game I collected a lot of data that I wanted to share with the community about Rishats "unique playstyle". I saw things that I wouldn't have called cheating, this would have been up for the viewer to decide, just units doing +100% dmg in a row or artillery hitting red suppressions over and over to tough units, cities being attacked without suppression or support and taking heavy damage.

He complained about me trashing him (reminding someone of the past and tell the truth never is in my opinion, but anyway) although I never talked bad about him in a personal way! I have to stress that. I was nice to him in the game and afterwards. I never instulted him in any way.
He demanded a restart of the match.

This is how much I know... I can only assume that this whole "exposure" was canceled to save us this pointless thing here. I kind of get it... I did an extra afternoon turn on saturday just because he delayed the game... and suddenly got the mail that it is over. He was the one complaining to get a restart. My last complaint was his sandbag a week before!
It's just his MO. He wins by any means... or he trashes the whole thing because he doesn't care. Sad and nasty. :(

Poor Lifever seems to have no luck,

With me I caught at work for 2 weeks and struggled to get back on, when I did he was a perfect gent about it and understood. He beat me fair and square (the only so far to do so). Rishat must have really wound him up to get this level of response.

Also I have never seen such poor losing and tantrums over a fun tournament in my life. It is ok to lose and will happen sometime, get over it. The fact that you seem to want to push the boundaries (rishat) for every opponent seems ridiculous, it's a game, enjoy the challenge with out the obsession of winning! Gain some perspective and have some respect for your opponents.

Dave (aka Goose) Thank you again for all your hard work on this tourny, I have thoroughly enjoyed the banter and battles.

p.s. I don't have a team like Gwaylare and feel very lonely as result!

Again there is no need to discuss this further very simple black and white decision here.

So you eliminated Rishat from tournament 29.06.2018 ?
Unbelievable...
Keen, you need to remember to "read attentively. "

Rishat asked to be removed from the tournament on the 29th and goose granted that request. Also goose said the decision is irreversible, so I don't know why rishat is even bothering to say anything after he asked to leave. Very simple stuff here no need to misread or try to confuse facts.

Just for curiosity: What do I get in return if I finish that game with him, invest the time? Will someone admit to writing me hateful messages with fake accounts? Will someone admit to flagging that video on youtube as "inappropriate content" although it is absolutely in order? Will he finally confess?
The answer is: There will be more drama and more hate like every time before and you will further deplet this tournament. So you win... attention, drama, nonsense. I can only lose time and seem like a total dick if I bring it up in one weeks time as he sure won't. Now I don't do losing propositions.

So get this:
I am a tournament player.
He is not anymore. And you are not.

To me this is the same as in any serious e-sport (finally!):
Once the referee or organizer says so or the time limit has expired, the decision stands. Same as a lot of people respected Rishats unban before... although they neither understood or liked it.
You don't duke it out in the stands after a referee call or go "meet me in rural russia and then we settle this one on one bareknuckle in the mud like real men" or "without stupid doping controls I would have beaten you somewhere in the jungle of brazil". (insert international places all you want, this is not meant as a bash to those regions)

This is a tournament I take seriously when it comes to the rules and fun when it comes to anything else. Therefore I had to accept the decision that I don't show up as a winner as I would have deserved (imo) and have to keep the data about Rishat to myself. I didn't like that... but I liked that this tournament is finally clean. So I rolled with it.
I also had to take that he actually dragged that game out... I played a turn a day until the end, even doing extra time at the end because of him. He sandbagged once he started losing big. He demanded a restart. It's settled. Move on.

I gave you what you wanted with the screenshot. If you keep calling me a liar, loser or coward... go ahead. Make your day. I sure as hell will have mine - with a big smile on my face.
If anybody in this tournament doubts any of that or thinks I did something unfair - please report to an organizer or make a list of votes or something... if there is enough feedback I will resign too, so this can get back on the funtrack - no problem - also with a big smile on my face.

And now I give my attention to the next (and might I say once again) worthy contender to the throne in this tournament.
In case you missed it: It's round 7 for everybody in the tournament...

You showed us screenshot for Germany, but didn"t show for USSR. :D

I don't think you are liar or loser. Rishat is now out of tournament this does not change and I can't understand why you are not agree to finish the game? What are you afraid of? If you sure you will win the game please show us that. Just be a man.

If you will win this game i will give you a chance to play against me.
I'm very interested in playing against the strongest. I want to be sure you one of them.

Finish the session, we need to look at replay

So, your definition of team means "everyone whos a** I kicked in Panzer Corps" ?
jimthechip wrote:I don't have a team like Gwaylare and feel very lonely as result!
So if I catch your drift and to choose Snowballs words: Jim, do you want to be part of a team (of people whose a** I kicked)?

What does that make Gwaylare and me? Team captains? Hm... if this is how you want it, I'm all game.

So... of course we need a name that represents how macho we are so I chose one of the most manly bands in history as inspiration: "Team Take That." (Don't worry, you don't have to listen to them while playing the game)
Tagline: What hits harder than TNT? T-T-T. Team Take That!
Awesome...

So the captains face off directly.. in the most epic race for glory since the last mad max movie. The team with more stars at the end of the tournament loses.

First we need to find a replacement for my last opponent since that is an unfair advantage for Gwaylare (or... for our team - since that means less stars). If there are any volunteers... I will make a list once we are fully assembled.

Unfortunately Rob didn't come back from the battlefield... so we are already down a man. We will mourn him the panzer corps way: please give him a well deserved artillery salute towards moscow. Afterwards salute in the general direction of Holland looking out the window. Even if you don't know him... you would have liked him! So straight faces, belly pulled in!

From what I´ve seen of Gwaylare´s tactics (and I usually didn´t see it until it hurt), I suspect that you will join our team pretty soon. ;)

I never asked Goose to expel me. It was just a vile throwing me out of the tournament to save Lifewer from defeat.
